Well, we certainly needed a reaction after Coventry (A) and we certainly got it!

A massive three points as the best performance of the season put Middlesbrough to the sword at Fortress Vicarage. Four wins on the bounce at home now as the hornets move up to 10th in the table!

Ned and James break down the tactics behind the performance, how Gracia set up to defeat Boro on the flanks, how the front two worked together and being clinical in front of goal.

Apologies for no episode last weekend! we just couldn't find the time to sit down and record together.

Ned and James are back to discuss the loss away to Coventry, a defensive disaster class and not taking our chances killed us. Dominating in all stats but one saw the Hornets fall to a 3-1 defeat. The boys then turn their attention to Javi's first three games in charge, what have we learnt so far? 

The Spaniard seems to be getting the best out of some players (Vata and Bola) but there have been disappointing performances from others (Sissoko and Kayembe) and the team seems to be building in the right direction, a challenging first three sees the golden boys pick up 3 points and compete heavily against table toppers Coventry. Looking ahead to Middlesbrough, are we optimistic?

After Watford's dominant performance over Oxford on Saturday, and a well fought out draw away to Portsmouth in the week, the boys assumed this podcast would be discussing the squad trending in the right direction, from 22nd to 10th in the table. But murmurs of Pezzolano's sacking began shortly after full-time on Saturday.

Pezzolano’s Watford looked miles off the pace in a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn. With little creativity in midfield, injury problems at the back and an Isolated Kyerrumgaard it was a frustrating watch for Elton John and the Vicarage road faithful.
