Ned and James reflect on a miserable week surrounding the football club, ending with a 0-4 loss at Vicarage Road and an open letter of no confidence to Pozzo from the 1881 club.

A strong performance by Alessio Dionisi's hornets on the road sees them take a point home to Hertfordshire.

Ned and James are back to discuss the performance, from Kjerrumgaard's start over Doumbia to Albert Eames being Watford's only fit right back at the club.

The boys discuss if the great dane took his chance with his goal, does Doumbia work better off the bench? then they discuss Bove and Kyprianou's partnership in midfield, Bravo's threat going forward and him linking up with the young Nabizada and Maamma.

But despite all the positives on the pitch there is a lot going on off the pitch which is cause for concern.

Dionisi has to be backed or he is being set up for failure. The boys discuss where the gaps are in the squad and what needs to happen to help the Italian get the best for the club this season.

Well it's been a busy couple of weeks surrounding Watford. Transfers in & out.

Ned and James are back for their fourth and final off-season special, they discuss how ready this squad is for the upcoming season. Do they have enough to compete? do we need more signings?

Irankunda looks to be on his way out alongside Imran Louza. This is more holes in a threadbare squad - more incomings are needed, and fast.

The boys then look ahead to Crawley (H) in the EFL Cup. First game of the season, the first test ahead of a 50+ game season.

Pre season is well underway, Omar Traore officially signs for Watford from Udinese, and three more signings on the brink from the Italian Sister club (Look away Ian Holloway) Ned and James have a deep dive into the three possible signings, who are they and how do they fit into Dionisi's plans.

Friendlies away to Boreham Wood and Barnet have yielded little - a standard affair in pre season but the squad is looking thin on the ground. Will these players make the difference?

Academy players winning professional deals and others shining in their pre season opportunities, will Watford rely on youth once again?
