A strong performance by Alessio Dionisi's hornets on the road sees them take a point home to Hertfordshire.

Ned and James are back to discuss the performance, from Kjerrumgaard's start over Doumbia to Albert Eames being Watford's only fit right back at the club.

The boys discuss if the great dane took his chance with his goal, does Doumbia work better off the bench? then they discuss Bove and Kyprianou's partnership in midfield, Bravo's threat going forward and him linking up with the young Nabizada and Maamma. 

But despite all the positives on the pitch there is a lot going on off the pitch which is cause for concern.

Dionisi has to be backed or he is being set up for failure. The boys discuss where the gaps are in the squad and what needs to happen to help the Italian get the best for the club this season.

The season got off to a flyer as Watford defeat promotion hopefuls Southampton at the Vic thanks to goals from the new boy Iker Bravo and academy graduate Amin Nabizada.

Ned and James are BACK for their first episode of season 5 on the pod to break down the game in its entirety before discussing areas to improve. The transfer window is still well and truly open and there are glaring issues that need to be addressed before it slams shut.

The boys discuss the CB area, aswell as the forward line and whether the club has the money to go out and get the right players.

Well it's been a busy couple of weeks surrounding Watford. Transfers in & out.

We're back.

Well thank god its over.

A fifth straight defeat thanks to a 4-0 battering at home to Coventry sees the hornets bow out of the Championship in 16th position, the lowest in 21 years.

But lets not dwell on that, Ned and James talk Ed Still's departure - which was announced the morning after, before digging into the main talking point of the pod: Scott Duxbury's end of season statement.

Admitting fault in the recruitment department, a dressing room full of players who want to leave and cultural problems all over the football club. Is this statement the first step in the right direction? or is the trust too broken to see any positives left.
