Well thank god its over.

A fifth straight defeat thanks to a 4-0 battering at home to Coventry sees the hornets bow out of the Championship in 16th position, the lowest in 21 years.

But lets not dwell on that, Ned and James talk Ed Still's departure - which was announced the morning after, before digging into the main talking point of the pod: Scott Duxbury's end of season statement.

Admitting fault in the recruitment department, a dressing room full of players who want to leave and cultural problems all over the football club. Is this statement the first step in the right direction? or is the trust too broken to see any positives left.

A dreadful week for Watford that sees a resounding beating by West Brom get followed up by a capitulation against Middlesborough and the news we've all been expecting - Ed Still is set to leave Watford at the end of the season. 

Ned and James discuss the breaking news and look to answer the question; Does sacking Ed Still solve the problem at Watford?

Was Still right to be sacked? Was he operating with an arm tied behind his back?

Is there now a divide at the top between Pozzo & Duxbury, Nani and Behrami? What does this say about the trust behind the scenes?

Another week and another poor performance from the Golden boys sees the Hornets slip down to 13th place in the table with room to go further.

Ned and James tackle the bigger issues at the club however.

Is change needed from top to bottom to stop the rot (Starting with Gino & Duxbury) Are the players to blame too?

We're back after the Easter weekend break and we wish it had carried on. A 2-0 defeat on the road and a pretty pathetic showing from the hornets is leaving many fans with a sour taste in their mouth over this season.

So what's the problem? Ned and James look through the Oxford performance, as well as Ed Still and Mattie Pollock's comments, then discuss if there is seriously a cultural problem at Watford FC, why do we always tail off at the back end of the season, do we make the right signings? Have we relied on the same transfer model for too long?

A 0-0 draw at home to Leicester saw a depleted Watford side's hope of the play-offs fall away. 7 point gap with 7 games to play being deemed too high of a mountain to climb for Still's young hornets.

Ned and James break down the game, the struggling squad, the growing injury list and a standout performance from Egil Selvik.

They then go on to discuss where the season has truly gone wrong, deciding very quickly it was not simply down to a 0-0 draw at home to Leicester which ultimately sealed our championship status in 2026/27. Too many draws? unable to break down poor opposition?

Last time out Ned and James discussed the necessity of 6 points from this week. A 'serious' contender for the play-offs would have done this with ease, yet the Hornets took just 1 point.

Failing to beat Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday evening, the only team to do so since January 1st, and a 3-1 defeat on the Road in Stoke on Saturday afternoon has all but confirmed our Championship status for 26/27.

The boys discuss the performance at Stoke, the problems within the club; leadership, immaturity, inexperience. Is the squad simply to young to compete consistently?

A big win for the Hornets on Saturday, the first since January 1st and all seems to be back on track for Watford.

Ned and James are back (finally) breaking down the performance. Mfuni, Goglichidze and the backline impressing. Maamma, Irankunda, Baah and Kjerrumgaard all showing their strengths going forward.
