This move puts them in prime territory for the upcoming Free Agency in 2021. The MLB playoff picture is starting to take shape with the Tampa Bay vs. Houston game 5 being the only contest remaining before the Championship series. Mitch Marner finally signs!! This is huge for this club leading up to the season, they can finally start this season with no distractions! There are multiple jobs open in the Leafs line up outside the top six forwards and the top four D-men. The competition will be great to watch for the next couple weeks, hopefully someone rises to the top! Still waiting on the other big RFAs around the league to end their holdouts. These negotiations could really affect teams heading into the regular season. Patrick Laine is definitely feeling the frustration with the Jets! The Toronto Blue Jays finished off their trade deadline by moving Aaron Sanchez and Joe Biagini to the Houston Astros! Aaron Sanchez comes to play in his pitching debut and Biagini comes in for relief to help the Astros complete the combined No Hitter against the Seattle Mariners!!
