What came first...the chicken or the egg? Culture or Religion? It's a difficult question to answer, yet we attempt to explore such a topic in this final episode of season 2. 

We chat about the religious and cultural pressures and barriers we have faced. We also discuss the conflation of culture and religion and the inappropriate use of religion to justify various forms of discrimination (e.g., the stigma around periods, queerphobia, and casteism).

This episode delves deeper into colourism within the South Asian community, the challenges we've faced and what we hope to see change. Being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and navigating South Asian society is a challenge for many, and it's about time we heard more about it. 

In this episode, we chat with three lovely guests who shed light on their personal experiences being LGBTQIA+ and South Asian. Our guests share important insights into the queerphobia present within the South Asian community and society as a whole. They offer invaluable advice to those currently struggling with their sexuality and/or gender identity.
