The phrase “log kya kahenge” (“what will people say”) has suppressed the voices of many in the South Asian community from speaking up about their mental health and we are tired of it! This episode is all about dismantling the stigma surrounding mental health. We talk about the mental health burden faced by South Asians, the impact of intergenerational trauma, the challenges associated with seeking psychological support in a Western country, and the limited education we receive about mental health conditions.
