With the start of a new year comes the promise that you can reinvent yourself. Some people take that promise too literally, inventing themselves over and over again or just lying about who they are altogether.

Pam: Molly was super excited to start a new chapter in her life. She was just 2 days away from marrying her boyfriend of 7 years in the Disney wedding of her dreams when her body was found in the middle of a back road in Missouri. Police quickly zero in on her fiancé and he has some serious explaining to do.


Ronda: Christophe Rocancourt was unsatisfied with his station in life. With a little determination and a grandiose imagination (not to mention a super sized ego), he managed to realign the stars… or con them out of their money.

Ronda: Break-ups are hard, especially when they’re unexpected. When Brenda Delgado gets dumped, she will do ANYTHING to get her man back.

Pam:  When Marie Robards catches her stepfather cheating on her mother she just can't seem to forgive him as easily as her mother does so she ends up leaving the home to go and live with her bio-dad. All seems well for a while, but teenagers are capable of doing more than you'd think when they are homesick and just want their mom.

Ronda: For my case, I tell you about a sheriff of a decently sized county who waged a one-man war against the Dixie Mafia and State Line Mob who plagued his home with criminal activity. This seemingly invincible man is credited with the deaths of several criminals who dared cause him grief.

Pam: Charles Severance was wronged by those in is life... the mother of his child left him taking full custody of his son, he ran for political office not once, but THRICE and lost each time. So, of course, it only make sense to get even with the "utopian  elites" by becoming a serial killer.

Happy Thanksgiving! This week we tell you about a not so great family gathering. Afterwards we will regale you with some Black Friday history followed with a few "One Day Only Sale!" horror stories.

Pam:  When estranged Paul Merhige shows up uninvited to his family's Thanksgiving celebration, he decided that the least he can do is enjoy a nice meal before going on a murderous rampage. Listen as I tell you all about this monster who may have taken away some loved ones, but can never take away his family's faith.

Ronda: Do you know where the "Black Friday" holiday got its name? I had no idea until I researched it. I also learned that the date for Thanksgiving had to be set into law because President FDR created so much chaos in 1939 when he changed the official date for that year. Stick around for my portion of the podcast where I'll combine history with horror. It should be a good time despite what Pam says.

It's time for this months FREESTYLE! How? We don't know. It can't possibly be the 3rd Tuesday of the month already... did we miscount? Do we know how to read a calendar? I mean, probably not. But, we're pretty sure it's freestyle time! We think... maybe.

Pam: A suburban stay-at-home PTA mom with a drug problem... not that interesting. A suburban stay-at-home PTA mom that doesn't have a drug problem but is framed by another suburban stay-at-home mom??? Now that sounds like a fun time!

Ronda:  Though her claim to fame occurred during the 50s and 60s, the one and only Marilyn Monroe is still an icon. As discussed in my case about the cursed diamonds, Marilyn committed suicide when she was just 36 years old… or did she? Could her suicide have been staged to cover up something much more nefarious?

Pam: Gifted to 8 year old Eugene Otto in 1904, Robert the Doll quickly became one of America’s most haunted dolls. People flock to Key West every year to get a chance to visit with Robert with the hopes that they will be able to take a picture of him and not be cursed. This week, I will tell you all about Robert and Gene and the life they lived together before Robert was handed over to the East Fort Martello Museum in 1994.  

Ronda: Everyone knows that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but what happens when that symbol of eternal love is cursed? Tune in to find out!
