In this episode, we tap into unoaked Chardonnays; which just recently became a big deal. When it comes to unoaked wines, they are fermented and aged in stainless steel or concrete vessels rather than oak which gives the wine more clarity and fruit purity.

Subtopic: What makes a friendship toxic or negative?! How do you handle those types of relationships?

On this episode, we are sampling an Italian export wine as famous as pasta and espresso called Chianti. For many years, Chianti was known as a sub-par wine, primarily produced with Sangiovese grapes in the Chianti region of Tuscany, Italy. 

Sampling: Bell'Agio, DaVinci, and Cavaliere D'oro with our special guest, Rebelle London; one of Atlanta's custom fashion designers. 

Subtopic: Micromanaging in Relationships

Viognier, being the rare white French grape that it is, was nearly extinct in the 60's until the 90's hit and it became popular in the United States. California was responsible for making Viognier fashionable wine.

On this episode, we sample 3 Viognier's from the California appellation: Cline Family Cellars, McManis Family, and White Knight🥂

Subtopic: Micromanaging in the workplace, is it effective?

On this episode we entered into Bordeaux, France to sample a few of their selections. South of the Garonne River is the left bank and north of the river is the right bank. On the left side, red wines are more tannic, acidic, fresher, and have a greater aging potential. On the right side, wines are softer, rounder, heavier and plumper.  Chances are we sampled wines from both sides of the river in this episode.

Subtopic: Can you get seriously involved with someone that roommates with a person they were once romantically involved with????

In this episode, we dabbled in an oldie, but goodie that's been around since the 60's. We thank winemaker, Davis Bynum for the creation of this brand and salute winemaker, Jennifer Wall for expanding our options when she joined the team in 1995🧚🏽‍♂️

A growing number of celebrities are getting into the wine business. Mass-produced celebrity wines are commonly sold at big-box stores and grocery chains. When a new celebrity wine hits the market, there are usually a lot of requests for it. Retailers and distributors say that while consumers do seek out celebrity wines, it's quality that guarantees repeat sales. If the wines are solid, people will come back for more. If not, a fan will buy a bottle and then be done. On this episode, we take a peek into what MJB, SJP, Train and Nicki Minaj have to offer with their wines.

In honor of our co-host's birthday 🎊, we chose to review one of Nina's favorite wine brands, the McBride Sisters. The McBride Sisters Wine Collection is a story of two sisters and their passion for wine. Though continents apart, they were raised in the wine regions of Monterey, California and Marlborough, New Zealand; independently growing up in and around vineyards and developing an appreciation for the craft of fine winemaking.

In honor of domestic violence month, we had an opportunity to sit and speak with Sean White and Adrianne Williams about the loss of their loved ones. Domestic violence is a common occurrence in all communities and a topic we rarely discuss until it's too late. We are so grateful to you both, for your willingness and unselfishness to be open about a time in your lives that was traumatic and continuing to heal from. Sean and Adrianne, what you did during this episode was not only therapeutic for you and so many others, but we believe it will give people the courage to speak out. We love you and we commend you on your strength.
