Welcome back! Here's a little teaser to let you know we're back.
Also I think I don't love the intro music so I might change it up.
And if you're looking for SideCar Podcast with Jen Coleslaw you need to find that on its own feed now! It won't be here anymore!

Oh hey are you still listening to SideCar over here? You really really need to listen to it at SideCar Podcast with Jen Coleslaw. You're keeping me from uploading Two Chocolate Cakes Episodes!
Let me know if it is not on your podcast player--btw, Stitcher is no longer carrying any podcasts so I can't help you there.
If you're listening to this on this feed, this is your last warning that SideCar will only be on the SideCar Podcast with Jen Coleslaw feed going forward. Please find it there. That's where I put all the show notes!
You can find the new nonprofit I talked about: A Little Extra at ALittleExtraFund.org

A thoughtful (as in full of thought) episode about how, in the words of the Rolling Stones, with respect to Parents (ie., fathers) you can't always get what you want, but you can get what you need--by going outside the family unit and finding positive role models for either your kids or even yourself. If your spouse or the father (or mother!) of your kids isn't making it happen because they're ill or they're flawed or broken, find other people to fill the gaps.
Also: What's at the farmers market, how Rufus Poofus All Around Doofus is doing, what's growing in and eating up my garden.
Plus the food holidays.
The bad air last week and the unfortunate plan to clean up the living room of all the cat hair and dust really did me and my poor schnoop in this week so this episode is mostly a bit of complaining, two coughs that I didn't edit out (sorry) and food holidays. Hopefully I'll get back on track this weekend.
I'm still hoping for THREE more Patreons so I can get that super awesome handmixer. You can support this (and SideCar) Podcast by joining the patreon at patreon.com/twochocolatecakes or if you're a Spotify user, supporting the podcast here for 4.99! (but if you join Patreon you get perks!)
A reminder that if you're listening to SideCar on this feed--You'll want to find the SideCar Podcast with Jen Coleslaw feed after the end of June because I won't be pushing the SideCar pods out on this feed--this will be only for Two Chocolate Cakes episodes! This feed will become Two Chocolate Cakes only--and those episodes will drop monthly because they are a lot harder to write and record.

Reminder: If you'd like to support the podcast you can do it via Spotify or even better: Patreon where you get perks.
A second reminder: If you're still listening to this podcast on the Two Chocolate Cakes feed (THAT IS THIS FEED,) please find the SideCar Podcast with Jen Coleslaw on your podcast app and follow it there. By the end of June (hopefully) I will only be posting PodCast episodes there so I can start uploading Season 2 of Two Chocolate Cakes on the Two Chocolate Cakes Feed.
So I'm still healing from surgery so my voice is pretty goofy sounding and I am sorry for the occasional cough.
But we get caught up on Farmers Markets, What's going on the Garden, Dog News, and of course the end of May and beginning of June Food Holidays.
Also, RABBIT RABBIT RABBIT on Wednesday overnight. DO IT. I don't want to hear how you didn't do it.
REMEMBER that I am moving the SIDECAR episodes to their own feed. Make sure you follow SideCar Podcast with Jen Coleslaw!

ALSO: I have closed down my redbubble store because they're awful and I now have a shop at Threadless. I am still adding things to it.
