"The Very Last Day of the Rest of Their Lives"
Clay and Corey wrap this fantastic series up. Episode 6. Everything rounds itself out. With some impressive CG to boot. And a bird that both of us really didn't understand.
What did you think of the show? Let us know over on Twitter: @twodadsreview. We have had a blast with this series and are glad you tuned in for at least this review.
Up next: series review of the Amazon Original: The Boys. Then we tackle the final season of Preacher.

  • 99: Good Omens - Episode 4 - "Saturday Morning Funtime" - Recap and Review
    "Saturday Morning Funtime"
We get to episode 4 during this episode, we swear. But the Dads are known to go off on other topics and this episode is no different. After some discussion about kids, child rearing, Comcast stupidity and some other random topics, we get into this episode of Good Omens.
Trying to not gush over it too much (it is hard to not love every bit of it), we discuss the events of this episode. More build up to the Apocalypse to include a Kraken, Adam becoming more evil, and the last two Horsemen.
As we always say, thank you for the listen and please share us, tell the world about us, and we will see you next time!

  • 98: Good Omens - Episode 3 - "Hard Times" - Recap and Review
    "Hard Times"
Can this show get any better? We say no. This episode takes 30 minutes to get to the title card. Why? Because it was busy walking us through the history of Aziraphale and Crowley's friendship.
In this podcast episode, the Dads take a look at this episode, go over some theories on what certain things we see may mean, while also going off on their tangents not hardly related to Good Omens.
As always, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your listen and hope you share us with your friends.

  • 96: Good Omens - Episode 1 - "In The Beginning" - Recap and Review
    "In The Beginning"
The Dads are back. We all needed a little break from the end of Game of Thrones. Phew! Anyways, we are back with our review of Episode 1 of the Good Omens miniseries. Yes, all episode were dropped at once. We thought there was too much good material in each episode to not review each by itself. We hope you enjoy.

  • 95: Game of Thrones - Season 8 Episode 6 - "The Iron Throne" - Recap and Review
    "The Iron Throne"
SWINDLED! We were swindled. Plain and simple. Character arcs that were gracefully crafted over the past 8 year were pretty much wasted. This episode was filled with so many anomalies that we don't even want to list them here.
Join the Dads as they review the end of the end of all of our Game of Thrones journey. Everything is wrapped. It is all over. And whether the masses (including the Dads) liked how it ended or not, we all have to agree, it is over. And given the chance to do it all over again, we would.
Thank you for joining us on this journey, stay tuned for our review of Good Omens Season 1. As always, thanks for listening and share us with your friends.
And now our watch has ended.

  • 94: Game of Thrones - Season 8 Episode 5 - "The Bells" - Recap and Review
    "The Bells"
We are almost there folks. And not a moment too soon. This marathon has become a sprint. Arcs wrapping up left and right, whether we like them or not. We cannot deny the spectacle that this episode was.
Join the Dads as they get into the details and repercussions of this show's events. Forced or not, decisions that were made must be delt with in the next and last episode of the series. It has been almost a decade, and we are looking forward to it going out on a high note.
As always, thank you for the listen. Please share our podcast with your friends and we will see you after the finale.

  • 93: Game of Thrones - Season 8 Episode 4 - "The Last of the Starks" - Recap and Review
    "The Last of the Starks"
It is official! We now are past the half way point in this final season. How is everyone holding up? I feel like this season is ripe with fan service, which while gratifying at times, might be a disservice to the fans. We expect to have our hearts ripped apart. That is what Game of Thrones does. It is what we have come to expect.
Episode 4 is currently the worst rated episode on IMBD in the series. I think that might be a bit harsh. I hope that the ratings are more in reaction to the fact that each episode is one closer to the end. And it feel real now.
Thanks for give the Dads a listen. Please share with your friends and we will see you after Episode 5.

  • 92: Game of Thrones - Season 8 Episode 3 - "The Long Night" - Recap and Review
    "The Long Night"
Not going to lie. This episode was dark...and not in some metaphorical way either...it was literally dark. Which made it hard for folks to see. And most of the reason everyone is outraged is because of that. Production-wise and sheer size of this undertaking is mesmerizing but we would have loved to see it.
Join Clay and Corey as they walk through the high points and the low points of this episode. Also you get your Dad's Story Corner this week. Listen as Corey explains his attempt to join a 55 and older community in his 20s. And Clay fixed a lawn mower.
As always, thanks for the listen and remember to share us with your friends. That way we reach more great listeners like you.
