Episode 17: Happy Hour is our time to experiment, and this time, we rip the lid off and go full political. Dana talks about the now infamous face of Chris Crispy…er…Chris Krispy Kreme…er...Chris Christie (yeah, that’s it) and the obvious agony of selling your soul for a job.  D. Marie and Erin find that caucusing is as smooth running as a pair of New Balance sneakers. Of course, we get a little more passionate for this happy hour as we have a cocktail or two to set the mood.

Episode 15: Today, we decide exactly why we’re friends: BOOZE. Erin quickly usurps the convo in a “Girls-Gone-Wild” sorta way to discuss the ins and outs of being set up while at work. Yep, a friend/not-friend brings her a potential suitor to the restaurant…for her to wait on him. In the process, D. Marie gets a little pissed off, James gets a little gay (over figgy pudding), and Dana gets a little misogynistic.  

James then takes us on a brief-ish trip down memory lane, talking a bit about Strawberry Shortcake, a bit about Weebles, and a bit about Margaret, his pet chicken. Sadly, you can probably guess Margaret’s end. In a word, it was grisly. Dana rounds out this evening’s discussion with a look at his favorite local brews (though he isn’t always sure what constitutes “local”). We end at a frat party with Erin in Massachusetts where we learn about her MacGyver abilities in seeking revenge.

Episode 12: In light of someone suspending his bid for the White House, we thought we’d start off this episode with a brief discussion about the fiasco that was Jeb Bush’s campaign. Sorry, Jeb. We know you’ve taken quite a few hits from the press, but we’re just a podcast…so it doesn’t count, right?

From there, Dana dives into what makes him whimper in his sleep. It’s not what you think. Of course, James and Erin follow suit — not with the whimpering, but some of their craziest dreams. Then, D. Marie kicks off a spirited conversation on dating a man-child (or dating man-children, to be exact) and suggests that maybe all men are looking for someone to take care of them. Should James and Dana take offense?

For our Last Call, Erin pulls the topic of Ghosts, but James quickly hijacks the conversation to tell a few chilling tales of his own. Hmm, we’re starting to think he’s a conduit of sorts.
