You could make it better. Phoenix is fighting for his life... we are trying to get help to go wherever we need to for medical care to help him. Despite some challenges, he is still happy and shows strength in his journey.

Phoenix has a spirit that gives, a smile that cheers, and a love that fills the hearts of all those he meets. The goal right now is to help him have as many happy days and love him and be there for him while he can! May 2017…he was a happy, sweet, kind, and loving six year old.

He was hit with fierce influenza. It got the whole family. They all recovered, but he continued to relapse over the next few weeks with multiple trips to the doctor and hospital. June 02, 2017, Phoenix was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor.

He was flown to Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital for emergency surgery. Phoenix had three surgeries, and within a couple weeks …he became mute and ambulatory. He could not speak or move on his own. After a few months of hard work in a wheel chair, he slowly regained walking, talking, and eating on his own. His first word back from being mute was, “Good!”We hoped and prayed for wellness, but have found ourselves almost two years later dealing with a recurrence. He is now having more and different chemotherapy treatments to fight the cancer.

Phoenix seemed to be responding in a Clinical Trial but was dropped because of the rules of the Clinical Trial. This felt like a death sentence to his family. Phoenix was left defenseless and without cancer fighting drugs for what felt like forever. His family is desperate to keep fighting the battle to save his life and to give him a chance. His doctors and Pharmacists at LPCH reached out to the drug company to get him the same drug he was on in the trial. They got the medicine and he is now receiving the chemotherapy once again.

HIs Father Petey-Maybe through this journey we can find something that can help him. If we have to go to another state or another country… we will do what we can or have to.We are doing everything we can to fight this fight against cancer. Please help us pray and think positive thoughts for Phoenix! He is now 8½ years old. We want to fight as far and wide as we can!

We want to give him time and the opportunity to beat this cancer…to have a great quality of life… and tons of fun while he is here and fighting the fight! I love my Son. he is the most amazing and best Blessing in my Life. I thank you for your SUPPORT, HELP, PRAYERS and GOOD THOUGHTS!
