    Denise Billen-Mejia:   www.healandberadiant.com

    Martin Furber: www.martinfurber.com

Ilah Brock:  www.centralvalleyhypnotherapy.com  email: [email protected]

This week’s episode goes where Denise and Martin have not been before, or have they?

Continuing from the previous episode, where they touched on the subject of Past-Life Regression, Denise and Martin invited Ilah Brock back to the show to talk about this subject, as it is something she offers, amongst other therapies from her busy California practice.

Denise and Martin asked Ilah to explain how she guides her clients.

In a similar way to how many people have pre-conceived ideas about what hypnosis is and is not, they put their own thoughts on this subject to one side, as Ilah talked in detail about her first client seeking this modality and the experiences of those clients who have decided to try this.

So, take a listen, and if you are seriously thinking this may answer some questions, feel free to contact Ilah.

  • Things We Don't Do...

    Denise Billen-Mejia  www.healandberadiant.com

    Martin Furber   www.martinfurber.com

This week Denise and Martin decided to talk about things they don’t do in their respective practices.

There are occasions when potential clients may approach either of them, wanting services they don’t offer, one particular one being Past Life Regression. In this week’s episode, they discuss how they deal with such issues.

This leads them to discuss the expectations of some clients, and the misconceptions many may have about how hypnosis works and what it is, and is not, capable of.

As ever, in this weekly transatlantic catch-up between two friends and colleagues, the conversation jumps from subject to subject; it is, after all, just a natural conversation. Denise asks Martin to explain more about the work he does with trans clients who have sought help to deal with mental blocks they may have, in terms of building up confidence to use their voices as part of their transition.

As always, their aim with this podcast is to help create a better understanding of therapeutic hypnosis and the benefits it offers. So, whether you are a therapist or simply want to know more about this much misunderstood subject, then this is the podcast for you.

    Martin Furber: https://www.martinfurber.com

    Jason Langley https://www.theteenanxietycoach.co.uk

Denise and Martin were delighted to welcome back ‘Teen Anxiety coach’ Jason Langley to the show. One of their first guests, over two years ago, they  had a lot to catch up on as the three of them got stuck straight into talking about how Jason’s solution-focused approach has been helping him to affirm his position as the go-to therapist for teenage anxiety in the UK.

They talked about the contribution Covid lockdowns may have made to the development of social skills in young people, which are now manifesting as major issues for some, school avoidance being one of them. Other subjects discussed included the societal differences faced by today’s youth, compared to their own upbringing at different times in the past century. Jason also talked about how he equips both young people and their parents to cope better and move forward, when anxiety is affecting their life.

Sure to be of interest to parents, therapists, and young people themselves, this week’s episode is fast paced, and is another great example of just how beneficial therapeutic hypnosis can be, right across the age spectrum.
