The Ohio Valley Conference champion and automatic qualifier SEMO Redhawks football team will travel to #17-ranked Montana for a first round matchup in the Football Championship Subdivision Playoffs this Saturday, November 26.

Southeast Missouri women's volleyball libero Tara Beilsmith and outside hitter Zoey Beasley were both selected to the 2022 All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team. Beilsmith, the seven-time OVC Defensive Player of the Week in 2022, was also selected as the league's Defensive Player of the Year.

Senior running back Geno Hess surpassed Kelvin "Earthquake" Anderson as the new record holder for career rushing yards during his award-winning performance this past weekend. Hess now has 3,475 rushing yards, which ranks fourth among active Football Championship Subdivision players.

The tandem of quarterback Greg Brune and receiver Chuck Koerner teamed up for touchdowns on the gridiron to lead the Southeast Missouri football team in the 1960s and now their granddaughters, Emma Brune and Cayla Koerner, are currently adding their own chapters to their family legacies as members of the Redhawks women's soccer team.

For the second week in a row, Southeast Missouri claimed two of the Ohio Valley Conference's weekly honors when linebacker Bryce Norman was named Defensive Player of the Week and quarterback Paxton DeLaurent was voted Newcomer of the Week Sunday.
