Episode 15: Black Women Femicide in America - Part 2
Content Warning: This episode contains discussion of domestic violence and femicide. Resources are available at the end of this episode and linked below.
In the last few weeks, three Black women made headlines for the worst possible reason. Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer Bowen. Pastor Tammy McCollum. Dr. Cerina Fairfax. Three accomplished, beloved, extraordinary women — killed by the men who were supposed to love them. In this episode, we go beyond the headlines and into the harder conversation. The one about victim blaming in the comments. The one about “choose a godly man” and “stop dating thugs” and “be a wife first” — and how every single one of those women did everything our community told them to do. And still lost their lives. This isn’t just a news recap. This is a reckoning. And we think it’s one that’s long overdue.

Episode 14: 4|20 SPECIAL
It’s giving holiday energy — and we are fully in the spirit. And a little chaotic.
In honor of 4/20, Keelah and Ashley are sitting down for something a little different. No hot takes. No debates. Just your two favorite co-hosts, some questions, and the kind of conversation that only happens when everybody’s comfortable.
This episode, we’re getting into it — the things we can’t live without, the things we’ve never said out loud, our most embarrassing moments, and the kind of friendship receipts that only your best friend can pull out on you. It’s chaotic. It’s honest. It’s exactly what you needed today.
Whether you’re an edible-eating mommy, a joint-smoking housewife, you like to drink yours, or you just showed up for the vibes — this one’s for you.
Pull up. Get in the Group Chat.
Two things can be true: life is heavy and we deserve to laugh.

Episode 13: My Life Is Falling Apart! (Why the Chaos Might Be Setting You Up for Your Best Chapter Yet)
You ever have a season where everything just feels… off? Nothing hits the same, the people around you start acting weird, you’re losing things left and right, and even your own dreams are starting to scare you? Yeah. We’ve been there. And in this episode, Keelah and Ashley are getting into all of it — because what looks like falling apart might actually be the beginning of your best chapter yet.
Two things can be true: everything can feel like it’s crumbling AND you can be exactly where you’re supposed to be.
In this episode we cover:

Episode 11: Minding Our Black Business
A journal called “Sis, Please STFU” went viral, sold out, and made a quarter million dollars — AI-generated images, grammatical errors, and all. And somehow… she won. So naturally, we have thoughts. This week on Two Things Can Be True, Aqueelah and Ashley are getting into ALL of it — using AI to create, who actually owes the audience quality control, whether “healing journals” can do more harm than good, and the real conversation about blind Black business support. Oh, and they launched their own journal. Yeah. The timing is not lost on them.
Ready to start focusing on living a life you love? Our journal/workbook, Life by Design, is available now as a digital download for just $5 a chapter, we’re releasing the first two chapters. Click on link below to download.

Episode 10: Agree to Disagree Series: Abstinence Saves Lives?!?! | Part 2
⚠️ Sensitive Subject Disclaimer:
This episode contains discussions about sexual experiences, intimacy, and sexual violence. Listener discretion is advised.
⸻
The besties don’t land in the same place on this one — and honestly… that’s the whole point.
Before the debate even begins, our brain enthusiasts bestie pauses the room for a minute and breaks down the science behind her theory. What actually happens in your brain when you become sexually active. Why early sexual experiences can hit deeper than people expect. And what the research says about intimacy, attachment, and risk.
Then the conversation opens up.
Two perspectives.
Two lived experiences.
Two women who respect each other enough to disagree out loud.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, the conversation gets real and raw when one of the besties opens up about her own experiences — the kind of honesty that reminds you these conversations aren’t just theories… they’re personal.
Because sometimes the truth isn’t one clean answer.
Sometimes it’s tension.
Sometimes it’s vulnerability.
Sometimes it’s growth.
And sometimes… two things can be true at the same time. ✨

Episode 9: 100 Downloads and One Emotional Support Group Chat
We hit 100+ downloads, and honestly… we’re celebrating like the group chat just found out someone’s bringing snacks.
In this episode, we take a little stroll down memory lane and recap some of our favorite moments from past episodes. We talk about the segments we love, the things we might tweak, and the ideas that have evolved since we first pressed record.
Most importantly, we talk about how much we love doing this together and how wild it feels to see this little podcast baby starting to grow.
Of course, we spend some time in the Two Things Can Be True group chat reading your comments, reviews, and messages that have had us laughing, reflecting, and feeling so supported.
Plus… our international girlies have officially entered the chat, and we are screaming, crying, and throwing confetti.
This episode is part reflection, part celebration, and part love letter to everyone who’s listening, sharing, and sitting in the group chat with us every Saturday.
✨ Two Things Can Be True: we’re still new at this, and y’all are already showing up for us.
