Two Tools, No Clue

Do you dream of one day living by the ocean? Well, you're in luck, because no matter where you live, a coastline is quickly eroding its way to you! This week, Jeidan's spooky October topic covers the disappearing American coasts, as well as the damage caused by the recent nor'easter. And how much sand from New Hampshire is getting dumped into the oceans? We have NO clue!

This week, Anna introduces us to seven influential women in (flower) stems! We're talking about the queens of gardening, AKA Land Ladies, an article written by Susan Peery, in the 2026 edition of the Old Farmer's Almanac. We walk through these massive gardens and the intentional details that make them so whimsical and stand the test of time. And are they culprits of escaped garden invasives? We have NO clue!

We are mourning the end of blueberry season by discussing the history of cultivated blueberries and the events that led to the large, plump berries we buy in stores today. As always, we have Indigenous peoples to thank for the generosity of their knowledge of the far superior wild blueberry! And will we beat our record of 170lbs next picking season? We have NO clue!
