  • EPISODE 12 - IT'S PIZZA TIME!
FULL DISCLAIMER..THIS PODCAST IS NOT SPONSORED BY PIZZA HUT. SO DON'T COME CRYING TO ME WHEN YOU CAN'T FIND THAT HEALTH PICK UP! NOW ON TO THE EPISODE DESCRIPTION -Hello my friends! This episode is a great one! In the longest episode yet (at the time it was), I cover a great show that I recently discovered - apparently I'm about 27 years late to the party but at least I showed up! I also want to give a special shout out to Micheal Bailey for hitting Episode 250 on Views from the Longbox! Here's to 250 more! I also may be trying to shamelessly plug this so I eventually get to talk Superman with him. Anywho...join me my friends as we travel from the sewers to the rooftops of the most deserted version of New York City I've ever seen as I talk about the heroes in a half-shell! Also I hope you brought your rubber boots, we are going into a sewer after all and make sure to wash your hands before eating anything!

  • DDP: Born To Run 02
Last time, Wally was facing down the immortal madman, Vandal Savage- this time... wait, that is where we pick up as Dave opens up The Flash #2 from 1987.
But, from there unfolds an epic issue with hell dimensions, Southampton mansions, cursed nightclubs, and a fight to a standstill between the Scarlet Speedster and the... Tom Jones-esque villain.
Listen and swoon with Dave over the tense, borderline erotic tension between two men- one young and inexperienced, the other an old hand at the hero and villain game- and Cyborg has a cameo, too.
Also, check out the kickstarter for Miss Vicky & Her Cutie Commandos at THIS LINK
    Theme:
“Born to Run” By Frankie Goes to Hollywood, and by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
    Additional Music:

  • Episode 196- Imagine the Fire- The Dark Knight Rises retrospective (with Professor Alan!)
In this week's ball-crippling episode, the epic megaseries of mega epicness about the Chris Nolan Batman trilogy and the first three Harry Potter movies concludes!
In this week's adventure, Magnus once again teams up with Professor Alan from the Relatively Geek network to talk about The Dark Knight Rises.
The conversation takes some interesting turns, not least because one of the participants had not seen TDKRises since it was out in theaters.
In true click-bait fashion, "the results will surprise, amaze and astonish you".
All this while Magnus and the good professor don't talk about Nolan's probable political views as implied by his entire Batman trilogy. Not too much anyway.
So what more do you need? Start listening now or else Bane will steal your private jet and crash this plane with no survivors.
Due to the blitzkrieg of badassitude this week, unfortunately there's just no time for listener feedback this week. But don't cry about it, some is coming in the future!
So dry your eyes! Use the time wisely! This would be an opportune time to send in any feedback you may have as the vault could get totally cleared out of feedback in the relatively near future. So get to writing!
In the meantime, though, don't let the lack of feedback this time get you down! You can still offer your feeble effort at tribute! You humble serfs are always welcome to kiss your benevolent leader's ring. Corrupt DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept your bribe to present your meager missives to your wise emperor. The email address to use is [email protected] as the other seems to be having technical problems.
In an another sublime act of truly unprecedented charity, your emperor permits you lowly rabble to suggest topics for a future episode. Thus, petitions may be sent to [email protected] for DiManzocorp interns to review, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!

  • The Man of Screen Podcast Episode 60 - The Adventures of Superman: The Phony Alibi/The Prince Albert Coat
In episode 60 of The Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo will enter the beginning of a difficult stretch of “The Adventures of Superman.”
If you can consider watching a television show difficult.
First, we get a visit from something rare on this show. A recurring character. There are plenty of recurring actors, but few recurring characters, but the return of Prof. Pepperwinkle is a delight, even if the episode itself is out there.
But the good professor has brought a new invention. Hes going to transmit you by phone. Think of the possibilities. Imagine getting a pizza sent to you over the phone. You better catch it or youll have a big mess on your floor.
But what happens when the criminal element gets ahold of it. Will they be caught? Or will they use “The Phony Alibi”?
And then, were giving to charity. Well, were not, but little Bobby Jackson is. Hes going to give some of his old stuff to flood victims and hes going to give away some of his great-grandfathers old stuff, too. Didnt kids in the 50s have PARENTS?
But find out what happens when Great-Gramps coat has something very valuable in it. Or not at all.
Find out the story behind “The Prince Albert Coat”.
Next time: The Daily Planet crew will determine the whereabouts of “The Stolen Elephant” and then the man from Mars, “Mr. Zero” will want to you to take him to your leader.
