  • Episode 15: Supergirl SE 1 EPS 5 and 6
This week Chris and Scott head back to National City to bring you the beginning of over a month of Supergirl recaps! Episodes five and six of the first season start with team Supergirl racing against the clock to stop a dangerous terrorist threat, while also proving they are dangerously inept at day care as Kara finds herself watching over Cat Grant's son. Worst. Babysitters. Ever. Next we get a windy and wonderful appearance from the pages of DC comics when Supergirl is asked to test her powers against the Red Tornado. No heroics from this android though, as Kara must stop its rampage before it destroys the city. We also get some nice character building about Cat's relationships with her mother and James and Lucy play "Guess who's coming to dinner?" with angry daddy General Lane. Bingestorm is feeling a little "Red Faced" this week so make us feel better as we start a long run of talking about Kara from Krypton on your Weekly Heroics. Stay Tuned!

  • Episode 181- Big Book- Leftovers (with Chris Honeywell & Scott Ryfun!)
In this week's climactic episode, Magnus bids a fond farewell to the Big Book Report!
In the first segment, Magnus once again joins forces with Chris Honeywell to talk about a couple of stories from previous Big Books (none of which come from the Urban Legends volume) which simply could not be addressed in previous Big Book Reports... many of which are violent, bloody, shady or a Top 40 radio hit.
In the second segment, Magnus and Honeywell join forces with Scott Ryfun of Dinner 4 Geeks fame so that Ryfun can give the Big Book of Urban Legends his full attention. Bigly!
The reason for this is explained as the episode unfolds.
Laughter is shared, stories are told and Honeywell shows up late! It's all here for the listening in this, the final edition of the Big Book Report!
Seriously, ladies and gentlemen, clocking in at nearly four hours this episode is a real doozy!
As a disclaimer, the sound quality in the second segment is perhaps not as solid as it might've been but there's a good explanation for that so listen close!
Due to the deluge of ass-kickery this week, unfortunately there just wasn't time for listener feedback this week. But don't cry about it because there's more coming in the future!
Patience! Feedback will be addressed in just a few weeks. As a matter of fact, several upcoming episodes will feature feedback sections.
This would be an opportune time to send in any feedback you may have as the vault could get totally cleared out of feedback in the relatively near future. So get to writing!
In the meantime, though, don't let the lack of feedback this time get you down! You can still offer your feeble effort at tribute! You humble serfs are always welcome to kiss your benevolent leader's ring. Corrupt DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept your bribe to present your meager missives to your wise emperor. The email address to use is [email protected] as the other seems to be having technical problems.
In an another sublime act of truly unprecedented charity, your emperor permits you lowly rabble to suggest topics for a future episode. Thus, petitions may be sent to [email protected] for DiManzocorp interns to review, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!

  • The Man of Screen Podcast Episode 45 - The Adventures of Superman: Olsen's Millions/The Bully of Dry Gulch
In episode 45 of The Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo will ring in the new year with continuing coverage of season 3 of The Adventures of Superman.
First, Jimmy is going to strike it rich because Superman saved a cat. And thats just the beginning, an old widow will reward him $1 million for the act. What does millionaire status do to our favorite reporter? Does it change him? Does he stay the same? Is he still as gullible as ever?
And why exactly does he need a canoe in a high-rise apartment? And find out what is going to fuel Jimmys smoke signals as we count “Olsens Millions.”
Then, Clark Kent is going to be the next Daily Planet staff member to change, but this isnt going to be a change for the better as those closest to our mild-mannered reporter think he has turned to a life of crime.
Is it a frame-up? Did Clark really turn to the dark side? And what exactly does he have in common with Jimmy Valentine?
Come along and were going to put an APB on “Clark Kent, Outlaw”.
Next time: Were taking this show on the road. First we will go to the Middle East to discover the wonder of “The Magic Necklace” and then were going to the American frontier to meet “The Bully of Dry Gulch”.

  • Dave's Daredevil Podcast 89- Stilt-Man Stalks the Soundstage
In Hollywood, it's all about who you know. Daredevil knows Karen Page, an up and coming actress, and Stunt Master, a former villain turned movie stunt man.
All of this leads hornhead to the set of a new television pilot, where the illusion of Hollywood extends to villainy, as Stilt Man plots to end Daredevil's run at stardom, permanently.
However, in an ineptly planned attack, everything seems to fall apart, as Dave covers Daredevil issue #67 from the mind and pen of Roy Thomas, and Gene Colan.

  • Origin Story Episode 6
In the sixth episode of Origin Story, I wrap up my coverage of the ultimate Hasbro crossover by taking a look at G.I. Joe and the Transformers #4. Do the Joes and Cobras save the world with the help of the Autobots? Will Hawk and Barbara get back together? Does anyone care about the Anthony storyline? Plus, Bumblebee becomes Goldbug! And I ponder the nature of nostalgia.

In episode 44 of The Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo will again be joined by Bob Fisher as he continues his coverage of the color Season 3 of The Adventures of Superman.
Do you believe in ghosts? Perry White didnt. At least until he was haunted by one. The illustrious editors favorite catchphrase will come back to bite him when he finds himself face to face with the ghost of Julius Caesar.
Is Perry going crazy? Is he having a nervous breakdown? And what exactly does this have to do with an upcoming trial the chief is scheduled to testify in.
Come as they go over one of their favorite episodes and introduce you to “Great Caesars Ghost”.
And then, the show will take a turn for the worse as they cover one of their least favorite episodes.

Come, if you are brave enough to face the “Test of a Warrior”.
Next time: Jimmy will come into some money in “Olsens Millions” and then we will meet “Clark Kent, Outlaw”.
