This week on Two Girls, No Chill, we're getting into the creepy world of wendigos and mimics- two kinds of things you REALLY don't want to encounter when you're alone in the woods... or anywhere, honestly.

First, we're exploring the legend of the wendigo, a terrifying figure from Algonquian Indigenous traditions associated with hunger, winter, and cannibalism. Then we're diving into mimics- the unsettling creatures people describe as imitating human voices, familiar sounds, or even the people we know. Because apparently, being scared of the dark wasn't enough. Now we have to worry about what's pretending to be in it!

Are these creatures folklore, modern internet horror, misunderstood experiences, or something people genuinely believe is out there? We're getting into the stories, the creepy encounters, and the reasons these legends get under our skin.

After he disappeared following an encounter his logging crew claimed involved a strange craft, Walton later described an experience that would become one of the most famous alien abduction stories ever told. What did he say happened to him, why did his coworkers become part of the mystery, and why does this case continue to spark debate decades later?
