In “A Time for Truth,” the new book by Ted Cruz, Senator Cruz mentions a simple statistic that makes it possible to pay off the national Debt within a few years. Dave Ramsey recommends following the advice of Proverbs 6 and running from debt the way a gazelle runs from a cheetah. Dave Ramsey is always urging individuals to run from debt as if our life depends on in our personal life. Why not show the same sense of urgency in getting out of our national debt.

The Liberty Caucus and the Tea Party were able to force John Boehner to resign early and all my congressman Devin Nunes can say is how unreasonable we were to force him out and how great a Speaker he was. Forget the fact that Speaker Boehner presided over the most profligate 8 years in American history. Forget the fact that John Boehner enabled Barak Obama accumulate more debt in this past 7 years than all the previous presidents combined. A Hempstead Texas police officer gave South Park’s Cartman a run for his money when he pulled a black woman over for failing to signal. He orders her to put out her cigarette then flips out when she refuses to “respect my authority.” As a tea party supporter and Constitutional conservative I can say that I whole heartedly sympathize with this Hempstead Texas woman. This is an instance where I would not be so critical if our President, President Barack Obama, if he decided to say this cop acted stupidly. It is totally unfortunate that a failure to signal could lead to an unlawful arrest followed by a suicide in jail. The Tea Party and Constitutional conservative republicans stand with this woman and stand for civil rights! I hope and pray black folks would stand with us in the future as we fight against real instances of civil rights violations. Please stop drinking the Al Sharpton Kool Aid every time he and Obama decide to make some bully criminal looser like Michael Brown into some a Rosa Parks or a Martin Luther King Jr. Conservative Christians are eager to stand shoulder to shoulder alongside you in a real struggle for civil rights. The US national debt is once again right up against the Debt Ceiling yet it barely registers in the confederate flag distracted news. Who the frack gives a frack about the flying flag in light of the debt ceiling and the collapse of Greece soon to be followed by the European Union, if they don’t get their act together. And it looks like the EU will not get its act together and so the European Union is likely to follow Greece right off the cliff of bankruptcy. Given Barack Obama’s statements; he will likely push for a US bailout of Greece if the EU balks. Possibly by printing money or just sending them money and adding it to our $18 trillion national debt. The question is: when the United States fails, who will bail us out?

The US Supreme Court just accomplished two of the three things needed to kill liberty true the last hope for liberty in the world. One is upholding Obama’s unilateral amendment of Obamacare despite the fact that he has no Constitutional authority to make law. Two: the Supreme Court’s creation of a civil right despite the fact that it is not an unalienable right, according to the understanding of the founders of the United States. The final nail in the coffin of liberty will be the amnesty of 30 million illegal immigrants who will vote two to one for a Democrat Party that sees the Constitution of the United States as an annoying obstacle to government expansion rather than a blessing and a protection against the inherent propensity of powerful people trample on the liberty of individuals.

Despite all this there is hope because Jesus is still alive and God is not done with the Jesus followers here in the US or around the world. He will use us to do great things for his name sake whether or not we are in power. When we are weak He is strong! We don’t need government positions or political power to accomplish his purposes for our lives!
