Lydia Manning is a comedian based out of Portland, Oregon. This is the second half of the two-episode comedian special. I hadn't really had any comedians until now, and they drove down from Portland to do a show in Eugene so I spoke with them while they were in town!
A former staple of the Wilmington, North Carolina comedy scene, Lydia was a regular opener at the Dead Crow Comedy Room, host in the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, writer/cast member for Wilmington's live late-night talk show, Late Fear with Wills Maxwell, and host of the monthly stand-up showcase, Sips & Giggles. Now a new and unique voice in the Portland comedy community, she is quickly becoming a sought after entertainer, performing throughout the Pacific Northwest. Lydia's comedy is dynamic, smart, and absurd, frequently pulling audiences out of their comfort zones and into her universe. She has been a part of the She-Devil Comedy Festival and North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, and has performed with some extremely cool comedians, including Jay Pharoah, Mary Mack, and Arj Barker.
