In today's episode, we discuss two topics! We were asked a question by PhotoK about how we go about keeping notes and managing games and we give our two cents on a recent Reddit article we couldn't stop talking about in which a DM's new players murdered children and didn't know how to react!

Today's question by Keith! @ https://twitter.com/photok

So you've been playing the same character for a while but for whatever reason, the shine has worn off the apple and you're not as excited about playing your character. Tanner and Jamal are joined by Alli as they explore how they go about reigniting the passion for the characters that they play in long term games. We speak about what kind of conversations we've had with our DMs and what warning signs to look out for amongst your players that show player disengagement.

Too often, the inspiration mechanic gets underutilized by DMs or a cause of frustration for player characters. Its a great mechanic and Tanner and Jamal discuss how you can use it in your games more effectively.  The essay mentioned can be found at

Tanner and Jamal are back in the kitchen cooking up a story that is near and dear to Tanner's heart. Inspired by the 7 Samurai story of a town needing assistance to shake of the threat of a tyrant lord. Whether you have a party of murder-hoboes or heroes of the land, they will have plenty to interact with!
