John 14:8/Matthew 11:28-30

2. E.arnestly believe that God Exist, that I matter to Him, and He has the Power to Help me.

Today: Matthew 11:28-30

C.onsciously Choose to commit all my life and will to Christ Care and Control.

1. What could keep me from taking this Step?

a. Pride ; I don’t want to admit I need Help Proverbs 18:12

b. Guilt; I’m ashamed to ask God for Help Psalm 40:12

c. Fear; I’m afraid of what I’d have to give up Mark 8:36

d. Worry; Keeps you from surrendering to the care and control of Christ.1 Peter 5:7

e. Doubt; My faith seems so small Matt. 17:20

2. How do I take this Step?

a. I accept Jesus as my Savior Act 16:31

b. I accept God’s Word as my Standard 2 Tim. 3:16

c. I accept God’s Will as my Strategy Ps 40:8

d. I accept God’s Power as my Strength Phil. 4:13

e. I accept God’s Presence knocking on my Hearts door Revelation 3:20

I accept the opportunity to let go & Let God, Today I surrender My Life to Jesus Christ,

I no longer want to be an Orphan; I desire to be a part of the Family of God_______

I accept the challenge in front of me to surrender my Heart fully to God, I have been

Holding back, Today I know I am Saved, but Today I want to Rededicate my Life to Serve Jesus______

I Believe in the Road for Freedom, I will pray for Celebrate Recovery at U3b._______

This Week we will focus on the E-----Earnestly Believe

2. Understand God’s Character Col. 1:15 “Jesus is the Visible Expression of an Invisible God”

a. God Knows all about my situation Ps 31:7 “You have known my soul in Adversities”

b. God Cares about my Situation Jer. 31:3 “I have loved you with an everlasting love”

c. God can Change me and my Situation Luke 18:27 “What is impossible for men is possible with GOD”

3. Accept God’s Offer to help

Phil 2:13 “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure

Admitting that I’m not God means I know I am: powerless to change my Past:, powerless to control others

I am powerless to cope with my harmful habits, behaviors, actions, Good intentions are not enough.
