Almost two years after selling off its fleet of autonomous taxis, the rideshare company Uber has signed a deal with Motional Incorporated to offer driverless deliveries and rides, reinvigorating the company's interest in autonomous driving technology.
In a statement this week, Motional's CEO calls the agreement "instrumental" to the widescale adoption of robotaxis.
