Worship is a matter of the heart- and how we worship does matter to God. This Sunday’s message will tackle two questions:

Every year, as members, we confirm or elect people to serve as elders and deacons of our church. But do we understand the tasks they have been given and the qualifications required of them according to the Scriptures? Let us learn them from Paul as he teaches Timothy who should be the people that should lead the church.

"提摩太前书3章1-7节，我们看到，教会领袖的资格标准非常高，不仅涉及到个人的品格、家庭管理能力、属灵成熟，还包括在教会外的声誉。这些标准表明，教会领袖的职责是神圣而重要的，他们不仅要在信仰上作出榜样，也要在生活的各个方面表现出基督徒的美德。因此，教会在挑选和任命领袖时，必须谨慎并按照这些标准行事，以确保教会的领导层能够有效地牧养和引导信徒，荣耀神的名。"

主耶穌升天之後，設立了教會。雖然教會不是純粹的一個組織，卻需要制度來治理與牧養，好讓教會能被建立起來完成她的使命：使萬民作主的門徒。初期教會有監督、長老、牧師、執事等領袖來帶領教會。他們扮演重大的角色，是代表主耶穌基督治理地上的教會，所以對這批人的資格有所要求。聖經如何看待教會領袖及他們的資格呢？

From our five-week series, we’ve learned that Job’s suffering was not punishment. God is not irrational. God is not unreasonable. In everything that happened to Job and even in our lives, God is purposeful. As we draw to our finale, what insights can we learn from our pain and suffering? Truly, God allows suffering to bring us closer to Him.

当耶和华在旋风中向约伯说话，似乎神并未回答约伯的疑惑，也并未回答约伯受苦的缘由。但耶和华从创造的角度给予约伯的诸多反问，让作为受造物的约伯一下认知了自身的渺小和有限。犹如新约中主耶稣面对法利赛人的试探时所说，凯撒的物当归给凯撒；神的物当归给神。主并没有回答他们的问题，但却令这些自以为义的人却无言以对。如今约伯终于明白，『我耳从前风闻有你，现在却亲眼看见你。』愿我们在这大结局中看到渺小的自己！

Ever since the tragedies struck Job, God has been silent in the story. This has left Job angry and frustrated, challenging God to answer his complaints and questions. But now, the LORD comes out of the whirlwind and breaks His silence. He accepts Job’s challenge, but not in the way Job expects.
