Southern Sports Today Presents UGA 40 Episode Eight of Eight.  The Bulldogs stare down the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Sugar Bowl, as Georgia looks to complete the drill and bring home a National Championship. It was a drag-out fight in New Orleans, including an injury to Herschel and a tough day for Buck, but the Dawgs emerge victorious and bring Georgia their only National Championship.

Southern Sports Today Presents UGA 40 Episode Seven of Eight.  After beating Georgia Tech, and awaiting a shot at Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl, the bombshell drops that Coach Vince Dooley was going to interview for the Auburn head coaching job. While stunned, the coaches and players were confident because they still had the best coach in the country ready to back them up… the legendary Erk Russell and his “just one more time” mantra for the 1980 Dogs defense.

The oldest rivalry in the south as the Dogs head to Auburn to try and win the SEC, and some clean ol’ fashioned hate against Georgia Tech.
