Hark! A podcast! Verily, the ugvm gentlemen have returned with dulcet voices and witty repartee in Episode 74.

In this episode, deKay, Kendrick and Toby partake in discussion of such things as Ubisoft deleting accounts, Valiant Premier Season 2, Baten Kaitos, Super Pocket - the Evercade that isn't an Evercade, and for some reason, Skibidi Toilet. Well why not. Naturally, we talk about the fun, and not so fun, games we've been playing.

In a faraway land, in a shady wooded glade, the Podcast Pixies live. Their existence is a simple, peaceful one. Or was. Because here comes Episode 73 like a Rat King of chainsaws to take down their forest and build condos (whatever they are) or something.

In this episode, deKay, Kendrick and Toby talk about the recent EA Games split news, the Real Actual Olympics doing eSports, and Nintendo's Not-E3 Direct. There are also tangents galore with Steam Box and Steam Deck chat (if you're a fan of game installers and Linux, you might want to sit on a towel) and only a handful of references to submarines. Plus, the real meat: Games.

"Dammit, Link" cursed Zelda, "Just jump! You've got a bloody parachute!". Link didn't answer. He never did. Zelda kicked him over the edge. "Father was right", she said.

Episode 72! This time, deKay, Kendrick and Zo discuss the fortuitously timed (for once) Sony Not-E3 Presentation and the games therein, Kendrick's new telephone (look, we're short of content), and Nintendo being sued because of lootboxes in Mario Kart Tour. And we played some games!

"Welcome to Episode 71", said the creepy man at the gate in the torn and dirty mouse suit, between puffs on his dogeared cigarette. "Enjoy your stay".

In this episode, deKay, Kendrick, Zo and John/Choobs discuss the death of Lenovo's gaming telephone line (as in, a line of gaming telephones, not a telephone line you use for gaming), Someone Has Bought A PS5, and deKay tells everyone about his visit to Norfolk's Premier Video Gaming Expo, OLL23. Plus, some games! That is after all why you came. Lots of games actually. Kendrick has been on a bit of a spree.

Another episode already? Who thought that would be a good idea?

In this episode, deKay, Kendrick and Toby put their lips to their microphones and aurally kiss them with such delicious topics as Starfield being exclusive to Microsoft-related Gaming Platforms, Call of Duty on the Switch, Counterstrike 2 (already? Only seems like weeks since the last one), the Evercade EXP and! Startling observations from and/or about these actual video games! It's like we almost know what we're doing.

This episode, the old men that are deKay, Luffer and Kendrick and the slightly less old man that is Zo, navigate carefully around the choppy waters of the number 69, discuss the new toys Luffer has bought (he got a Pico 4 VR headset to go with his other 54124 VR headsets), Nintendo's Nintendo Direct direct, Goodbye Volcano High, and important other topics like Bill and Ted and how you just don't see waggling joysticks these days. Additionally, games!

Yes, yes. We know the last episode was a mere shadow of a proper show. A snifter. A tease. Well, we're back with a Real One, you lucky, lucky people.

In Episode 68, which somehow unexpectedly became a Chinese New Year Special, deKay, Toby, Orrah and Kendrick do chats about How To Speak Chinese Proper Like, Wo (like "oh-woah") Long Fallen Dynasty (and related Chinese history), the death of Stadia, tech layoffs, AND! Games!

Thanks to some wonderful audio issues from our resident audio engineer, last episode left us with a lot of "material" which got cut as it was mainly chat while we waited for stuff to get fixed temporarily. It seemed a shame to lose this Classic ugvm Bants to the dark recesses of deKay's hard drive, so we've collected together all these not-for-air outtakes for a cheaply made, very short, Episode 67. Think of it as audio bubble and squeak.

Which is ironic because we suffered from plenty of bubbling and squeaking.

What? It's Christmas again already? Impossible. And yet - here we are with a festival shambles episode, with all the audio dropouts and edits only a True Christmas Shambles Episode could provide.

Don't panic everyone, we're here after all! October was, er, holiday month or something. Yeah, that'll excuse the delay. Phew, eh?

In Episode 65, deKay, Toby and Kendrick cover the new Evercade EXP's delay  but can't remember the details, the Mega Drive Mini 2 but can't remember the games on it,  Embracer shutting down a recent studio purchase, R-Type Tactics, and holy hell there's no way Metroid Prime is 20 years old already. That would make use all very old gentlemen indeed. And we talk about some games wot we are been playing.
