Written by Yankovic and his longtime manager and music video director Jay Levey, directed by Levey and starring Yankovic, Michael Richards, Kevin McCarthy, Victoria Jackson and David Bowe, UHF was a financial and critical failure at the time of its release but went on to become a cult classic.
