The Vikings’ initial 53-man roster is set, and Tom and Darren have questions—especially about carrying four quarterbacks and what that might mean for JJ McCarthy. They work through the biggest surprises, from Brett Thorson winning the punting job to the thin-looking offensive line, while Darren proudly claims an entirely scientific 88% success rate on his roster prediction.

Then it’s time to call every game of the 2026 season. Tampa Bay, Indianapolis and Mexico City divide opinion, but both hosts still land on playoff football: Darren at 10–7 and Tom at 11–6. There is also a Broncos preseason post-mortem, one briefly “Old Yellered” dog and the usual refusal to let optimism be constrained by evidence.
