Yesterday, Education Minister Helen McEntee confirmed the Government would go ahead with spending nine million euro on phone pouches in schools.
However, a new study in the UK has found that schools with phone bans are no better off than those without the ban. We discuss this further with Dr Victoria Goodyear, lead author of the study from the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Birmingham.
