We sit down Garrett Clarke, owner/founder of the Rolling Monkey. We'll cover Garrett's journey to running a successful handcrafted, premium ice cream store and the mental & spiritual questions he had to ask himself along the way. Hello, Tsang gang! Nonprofits are critically important in building and strengthening healthy communities. While helping out for the common good is a rewarding endeavor, it is demanding and can lead to burnout. Today, I sit down across from Kevin Hagan, the multitalented founder of Thrive Impact, who seeks to address this issue. We'll talk about the concept of compassionate leadership, common mistakes that nonprofits make, the qualities in person and organization that can lead to success, and Kevin's interesting journey that has seen him work for places ranging from the Postal Service to National Geographic. We'll even cover the origins of the term "going postal!"

Hello! In this episode, I head down to Atlanta to talk with my old friend and fellow restaurateur, James Baek. He'll take us through his journey from being raised by immigrant parents and being forced to help with the family business, to working over 100 hours a week as his own restaurant operator, and to eventually getting a real estate license to help other aspiring restaurant concepts find the right location. Is Korean food the next big thing? We'll find out! The theme of this episode is hard work. I know all too well that it's an industry that requires you pour your heart and soul into to be successful!

I'm very thankful to have the opportunity to sit down and talk with my friend Matt Rogers, a paramedic who came down with a very scary case of COVID-19. Thanks to the efforts of friends and family and a bit of good fortune, Matt was able to recover from death's door after a long stay in intensive care across multiple hospitals. He tells us what he learned and observed through the ordeal, and about the importance he places on faith and living life to the fullest.

Who likes Barbecue? Dolan's Bar-B-Que is coming to Statesboro thanks to the efforts of sisters Mary Beth Brown and Lazar Oglesby! I have a chat with Mary Beth Brown about her aspirations and influences (including the restaurant's namesake, her Grandpa Dolan) that have fueled her passions for the hospitality and food industries. Howdy, everyone! It's time to sit down and get personal with musical artists Boomer3017 and P. Cade! While focused on hip hop and rap, the two are always looking to diversify their music to keep things fresh and creative. We'll talk about that, what it's like trying to break into the music scene, about how much the music industry has changed in recent years with the advent of social media and e-commerce, and their thought process when approaching music both as an artist and as a way to make a living.
