  • Russia’s Economy Is A Lie

Russia’s economy is not what the Kremlin says it is. In this video, I break down why Swedish, German, and Latvian intelligence are all pointing to the same conclusion: Russia’s real budget damage is worse, its war economy is under more pressure than advertised, and the official story is starting to crack. Oil and gas revenue has fallen sharply, sanctions evasion is getting more expensive, inflation looks worse than the public numbers suggest, and the real strain behind Russia’s long-war posture is becoming harder to hide.

That pressure is no longer visible only from outside Russia. Elvira Nabiullina has warned about labor shortages and worsening external conditions. Other voices closer to the system are also sounding more alarmed. I look at the real math behind Russia’s deficit, the hidden cost of sanctions evasion, the weakening energy picture, and the signs that the Kremlin’s economic buffer is thinner than it appears.

That changes more than the Russian economy. It changes the war in Ukraine, the leverage around negotiations, and the meaning of Zelensky’s warnings about a bad deal. If Russia is weaker than advertised, then Ukraine’s position looks different, Putin’s options are narrower, and any outside push for a deal has to be judged against a much more fragile Russian reality. This is the real math behind Russia’s war economy and the next phase of the war in Ukraine.

  • Kremlin's LAST Black Sea Advantage SHOT DOWN

Russia is spending more, but the return Moscow expected keeps shrinking. In this video, Dr. Jason Smart explains why Ukraine’s growing ability to stop Russian drones over the Black Sea is so important, how that weakens one of Russia’s key attack advantages, and why the Kremlin is now paying more to achieve less on the battlefield.

Russian gains are falling even as the cost of the war keeps rising. At the same time, Ukraine is hitting the refineries, factories, air defenses, and military sites that help Russia sustain pressure. That leaves Moscow with a growing problem: the war is getting more expensive, while the payoff keeps getting smaller.

Ukraine is also changing the air war itself. If Russia can no longer use drone attacks over the Black Sea the way it did before, and if Ukraine keeps disrupting the systems that fund and supply the war, then one of Moscow’s cheaper tools becomes less reliable just as the wider pressure keeps building.

  • Frontline Breach Now Hits Moscow

This war is no longer staying near the front. Strikes are now reaching deeper into Russia, hitting the rear areas Moscow depends on to keep factories running, freight moving, and internal security intact while the fighting continues elsewhere.

The bigger story is not one damaged site. The bigger story is that Russia’s rear is becoming part of the battlefield. Once that happens, the Kremlin faces a harder problem: protecting territory far from the front while keeping war production moving and persuading Russians that control has not slipped.

If that pressure keeps moving deeper into Russia, the damage will spread far beyond a single facility. It will show up in stretched air defenses, industrial disruption, transport bottlenecks, and a growing political burden for Moscow. How does the Kremlin keep telling people this war is distant when it is landing closer to home?

  • A Bankrupt Kremlin Turns on Itself

Russia’s war is no longer only draining soldiers, weapons, and oil revenue. It is now changing how power works inside Moscow itself. For years, the Kremlin used oil cash to hide corruption, calm rivalries, and keep every faction fed. That system is now under growing strain. As money tightens, loyalty gets more expensive, fear rises, and the state can no longer shield everyone who once depended on it.

That is why the military, the intelligence services, and the internal security apparatus are no longer moving in the same direction. Arrests of generals, expanding detention power, asset seizures, bank strain, and favoritism toward protected war industries all point to the same shift. The Kremlin is being forced to decide who gets funding, who gets cover, and who gets sacrificed. That is what makes this moment dangerous for Putin’s regime.

Ukraine’s strikes are making that internal struggle harsher by hitting the cash flows, logistics nodes, and infrastructure that keep the system alive. Every new disruption narrows Moscow’s options and raises the political cost of continuing the war. Russia can still fight, but it is becoming harder to govern. When a regime can no longer finance loyalty, contain rivalries, or protect its own insiders, instability stops being a distant risk and starts becoming the story itself.

  • Putin Just Opened Russia to Attack

Putin sold Russians one bargain for years: give up freedom, and the state will keep life stable, safe, and working. That bargain is breaking. Ukraine is striking deep inside Russia, hitting places like Cherepovets, Ust-Luga, Primorsk, and Novorossiysk, and showing Russians that Moscow cannot protect the infrastructure that keeps the war going and the economy alive.

This is no longer just a front-line story. Russians are cutting back on food, buying through discounts, and paying more for basic goods while export sectors shrink and the war eats through money, manpower, and equipment. Strikes are now hitting oil, gas, chemicals, transport, and the wider system behind the army.

That is where this turns dangerous for Putin. He told Russians only he could keep the country safe. Now major sites keep getting hit while he protects himself first. The war is no longer far away. It is reaching into factories, ports, prices, and daily life inside Russia, and that makes the whole system harder to hold together.

  • Putin's Inner Circle No Longer Trusts Him

Putin's inner circle no longer trusts him. Jason Smart breaks down why Kremlin elites no longer feel protected, why Vladimir Putin is starting to look like a liability to the people who once depended on him, and why the most dangerous threat to the regime may now be inside the Kremlin itself. This is no longer only a story about the front lines in the Ukraine war. It is also a story about fear, mistrust, and political survival at the very top of the Russian system.

From rising anxiety around Valdai and falling trust inside Russia to recruitment shortfalls, war losses, and widening political pressure, the old bargain of loyalty for safety is starting to break down. Putin once made the system feel stable. He once made elites believe that loyalty would bring protection, access, wealth, and survival. Now that calculation is changing. The same people who once saw him as the guarantor of order may be starting to see him as the source of growing danger.

This video examines Russian elite fracture, Kremlin instability, Putin paranoia, and the strategic consequences of a regime that can no longer fully protect its own backers. It explains why elite doubt can become more dangerous than public anger, why insiders may decide Putin now creates more risk than safety, and what that could mean for regime survival, for Moscow's next moves, and for the next phase of pressure on Russia. If the circle around Putin stops believing in him, the consequences could reach far beyond the Kremlin.

  • Putin Offensive Just BROKE

ussia’s offensive in Donbas is no longer turning heavy losses into meaningful gains. In this briefing, Jason Smart examines how Kremlin progress has slowed sharply while the cost of every meter keeps rising, and why Ukraine is no longer focused only on the front line. The deeper shift is strategic: Kyiv is putting pressure on the machinery that keeps Russia’s war effort moving, from transport corridors and export infrastructure to the wider systems that feed the army.

That pressure now reaches far beyond the battlefield. The video follows how shrinking gains, rail bottlenecks, oil export friction, missile production strain, and widening budget stress are starting to hit the same war system at once. It also tracks how Ukraine’s drone adaptation and defensive interception gains are changing the balance, making Russia spend more resources for smaller results while the economic engine behind the war weakens.

At the same time, the Kremlin is tightening censorship as signs of strain spread through public life. Telegram throttling, internet blackouts, police shortages, pension pressure, and growing elite distrust all point to the same conclusion: Russia is trying to sustain this war by damaging the state that supports it, and the internal cost is rising faster than Moscow can hide.

  • The Kremlin Must Defend Itself

Vladimir Putin still has missiles, prisons, money, and men. But the deeper problem is now impossible to hide. Red Square, Victory Day, and Moscow's security posture are no longer just symbols of control. They are becoming proof that the Kremlin is spending more and more of its strength defending the system behind the war. Once the center of power starts looking exposed, the image of confidence becomes harder to stage.

That pressure is not coming from one direction. Crimea's supply structure is thinning. Fuel and industrial infrastructure are taking hits. The budget is widening early, recruitment costs are rising, and more of the burden is moving into civilian life. Ukraine is getting better at creating exactly this pressure, which means every new shock becomes harder and more expensive for Moscow to contain. This is bigger than one parade or one air-defense scare.

Putin can still inflict pain, and he can still prolong the war. But the harder question is whether the Kremlin can restore its buffers as fast as the war strips them away. Once Victory Day, Red Square, Crimea, fuel, state finances, and Moscow security all require protection at the same time, the pressure no longer looks temporary. It starts to look structural.

  • Ukraine’s Breaches Now Threaten Moscow

The Kursk fortification scandal is no longer a local corruption case. Money meant for border defenses was siphoned off, Ukraine broke through the same sector, and a regional failure turned into a Moscow-level liability. What once looked provincial now cuts into rear security, political protection, and the chain of officials above it. That is why Kursk, Belgorod, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, and Crimea no longer read like separate files.

Fresh pressure across Russia's rear keeps reopening the same wound. Novorossiysk should have looked safe. Crimea was supposed to anchor the Black Sea rear. Governors now look less protected, regional managers look more expendable, and Moscow is spending more political capital just to keep the system looking stable. Some regions can be punished to contain scandal. Others are handled more carefully because the Kremlin fears what disorder there could trigger.

Jason Smart breaks down how Kursk, rear strikes, exposed regional weakness, Dagestan's flood pressure, and Chechnya's succession anxiety point to one change inside Putin's system. Russia still has force, but force no longer guarantees confidence, cover, or coherence. Rear weakness is spilling into governance, prosecutions, extraction, and regional control. What used to stay local now travels upward, and every new shock makes the next one harder for Moscow to absorb, contain, and hide.

  • The Kremlin Is Preparing for a Much Worse War

Ukraine’s drone strikes inside Russia are changing the war in Ukraine. In this analysis, I break down how Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil ports, logistics hubs, and defense-linked infrastructure are raising costs for Vladimir Putin while Russian territorial gains slow sharply. This is no longer only a front-line story. It is a widening pressure campaign against the systems that finance, supply, and sustain Russia’s war machine.

The battlefield numbers matter because they connect directly to the economy. As Russia spends more men for less land, repeated strikes on export routes, industrial targets, and military-linked facilities threaten energy revenue, logistics, recruitment, and production. I examine how pressure on hubs like Ust-Luga and Novorossiysk fits into a larger pattern of disruption that is forcing the Kremlin to absorb higher costs for weaker returns.

This video explains why Ukraine’s long-range drone campaign matters beyond the daily headlines. The front is harder to move, the rear is under mounting strain, and the Russian system is being tested at the same time on manpower, money, and infrastructure. That shift could shape the next phase of the Russia-Ukraine war, the resilience of Putin’s state, and the future balance of pressure inside Russia itself.
