He’s a one-man band from Japan, now based in Los Angeles, and he’s not your typical ukulele player.

Ukulele Hiro brings an electrifying punk edge to every performance, playing covers of classic punk anthems on the ukulele. Hiro is about raw energy, power chords, and blending punk rock's spirit with the Ukelele's island vibes.

His high-energy shows often see him sharing the stage with legendary punk bands such as Dead Kennedys, Skatalites, DRI, The Vandals, Mad Caddies, Guttermouth, and many more.

He also garnered attention with his covers featured on tribute albums, such as “Black Lung” on the Hooligans United Rancid Tribute and “El Coo Cooi” on the Voodoo Glow Skulls Tribute Album.
