Last week we predicted Everton v Arsenal in the Premier League and Sunderland v Ipswich in the WSL Cup. Arsenal won, as expected, but the real drama came in the WSL Cup, where Sunderland came from behind to win. That means George picks up two points for the exact score and keeps his lead on the scoreboard, now 7–4.

The Tyne–Wear Derby did not disappoint. Sunderland grabbed their first Premier League win over Newcastle in more than ten years. The atmosphere was electric, the fans created an incredible display in the stands, and the home side produced a massive moment for their season.

We also dive into the chaos of the brand new World Cup draw. From unusual music to surprise guests, it had everything. England landed in Group L alongside Croatia, Ghana and Panama, while Scotland face a tough group with Brazil, Morocco and Haiti. With a new round of 32 this year, upsets are almost guaranteed.
MLS Cup Champions
Over in the USA, Inter Miami lifted the MLS Cup after beating Vancouver three one. Messi added yet another trophy to his incredible career. Football is football, no matter the league, and a cup win is a cup win.
