What would you want to be remembered for? Many people would not say death. Today, we will look at the idea that Christ wanted to be remembered for his death. Christ's greatest accomplishment was achieved in death. Our new life comes from his death. Luke 22:7-20

Why is it hard to believe what has not been experienced? Why did the disciples have a hard time with Christ's death? They were told it would happen. Will it surprise us when the Lord returns? It is in human nature to let information to slip in one ear and out the other. Everything that exists has happened for the first time. There was a time when there was no life, but when it happened, it happened for the first time. Everything happens for the first time. Will we be ready?

Would you rather be told what you want to hear, or would you rather hear what you need to hear? In the end times people will want to hear flattery over truth. Do you take the truth well? What feedback do we give? Do we tell them what they want to hear or what they need to hear? Do you love them enough to tell them what they need to hear?

What is good? What is good for me? Are these questions the same? When you think about it, these questions, though they sound the same, are very different. The question of what is good for me leads to godless, rebellious acts. How are we affected by the ethic of our age? Are or will we be self deceived? 2 Timothy 3:1-9

Do you expect the unexpected? Should we expect the unforeseen? The answer is yes. The future is never certain, so why do we have a bias against expecting the unexpected? Unforeseen events change the world. Are God's assurances likely to happen? Is the return of Christ an unreasonable or foolish expectation?

Think about the distinction between a fool and wise man? What do they have in common? When they both make a decision, they choose what they think will be best for them. They both want a good outcome. A fool looks to himself and a wise man looks beyond himself to something wiser than himself. A wise man has a different source of knowledge. What will the future hold for us? Daniel 12:1-3

How easy are you intimidated? How easy is it for you to turn and run? What is your level of resistance? In the last days we will face strong intimidation. Will we make it through? What will cause us to run in the end times? Luke 21:25-36

How easy is it to craft a lie? Why do we believe lies? We believe lies because we want them to be true. Thinking a lie seems to be true and wanting it to be true are two reasons we fall for lies. Some illusions are a matter of life and death.  Lies will be used to keep us from reaching the third tabernacle. Do we know enough about the anti-christ not be fooled?

If decisions we make are made by weighing the pros and cons of that choice, it shows that every choice we have made; we thought it would benefit us. We set out to make good deals. If we always set out to make excellent decisions or deals, why do we sometimes make bad ones? We make poor deals because of bad information or distorted information. 1 Timothy 4:1-2

What are some things most people are interested in when looking into the end times? They want to know about the anti-christ, when it will happen, and who are the ten nations? People are also interested in how much the church will go through the tribulation. The most important thing we need to know, however, is will my faith stay intact in the end times? Matthew 24:1-14
