Is it our ambition to find ourselves in a better place than we are now? If it is, then is the journey worth it? Are we currently restless? Are we longing to be in a better place? Would you be content in your current condition for all of eternity?

What do you know for sure? What are you absolutely sure of? How do we gain knowledge of what we are ignorant of? How do we know for sure? How do we come to know what we hadn't known before? We need to be aided to see what we couldn't see before. Do you know what the nature and purpose of God is? 1 John 5:20-21

The thing they have in common is they desire us to follow them. Jesus desires us to follow him into authentic life and Satan to extreme death. Who do we put our trust in? 1 John 5:1-5
