Unabashedly Obsessed Episode 12: You Must Apprehend All The Creatures (Pokemon Go)

Hey, everyone! This is a very special episode, as we have our first remote segment! Which was promptly interrupted by a very nice and very persistent woman who wanted us to teach her, “What is a Pokemon and how do I play it?”

Erin would like it on record that in the two weeks since we recorded this episode, she has reached Level 21, caught a wild Pikachu, and hatched a better-CP Pikachu. She has named her Pikachu “My Precious”, and is still super into the game. She is now on a mission to apprehend all the creatures.

Unabashedly Obsessed Episode 11.5: Accidental Porpoising (“Hamilton” NCCs, Now With Edits!)

Hey everyone! Remember that time that Erin spent hours editing this episode, only for Audacity to ignore all her edits and save the raw file as an MP3, and she didn’t realize it so she posted it and then had to take it down and re-edit?

No? Good. Pretend that never happened and this is what we posted all along.

We had a lot of No-Context Corrections (NCCs) from our “Hamilton” episode…enough to make a whole episode out of them. A whole episode that both starts and ends with Melissa McCarthy, who has nothing to do with “Hamilton”. But you know us. That’s how we roll.

Hey, everyone! Today we celebrate James’s birthday, and tackle the hard-hitting questions on everyone’s mind: How does Periscope work? How Does “Hamilton” compare to “RENT”? Just how smart IS Lin-Manuel Miranda? Was Alexander Hamilton the Kanye West of his time? Is waxing your ears a good idea, or a bad one?

Today’s review buzzword is “nun”, as James’s autocorrect seems to think he’s more into “Sister Act” than he actually is.
