  • Episode 3: Fighting symptoms or my own beliefs?

I used to think my biggest battle was with my body - the symptoms, the unpredictability, the exhaustion. I believed that if my illness eased, then I could finally move forward. But over time, I started to realise something: I wasn’t just fighting my condition. I was fighting the thoughts that kept me trapped.

The fear of pushing too hard. The belief that progress wasn’t possible. The feeling that my illness had already decided my future for me. These weren’t just passing thoughts - they shaped my choices, my actions, and my willingness to even try.

Today, I am discussing how to recognise when your mindset is holding you back more than your illness - and more importantly, how to start breaking free from it.

  • Episode 2: Who Am I Beyond My Illness?

I was someone who had dreams, plans, and a future that didn’t require constant calculation. Someone who could say yes to things without hesitation. Someone who didn’t have to think about symptoms before making a decision. And then the illness came, bringing limitations, fear, and grief with it.

Today, let’s talk about how to cope with the mindset of losing the person we used to be… or the one we thought we were meant to become.
