Regardless of how we become parents, raising kids will bring up all kinds of past issues for each of us.  It makes sense because we are taking on a new and important role.  But, how do we know how to parent?  We may read a book or two.  But, whether we realize it or not, we think back to how we were raised by our parents and what we've seen others do.

In this episode, I talk about this and how raising kids pushes all our buttons and crosses all our boundaries.  A solid sense of self and as much maturity as you can gather will go a long way to making us even better parents.

Working motherhood is hard.   But, we do not have to go through it alone.   In this episode, I talk about the importance of finding your squad.  We should all have people cheering us on, listening to us, and helping us along.  We can't take over the world unless we band together!

As mothers, there is always a lot to do and often not a whole lot of sleep or relaxation.  It is a lot of confusion. A lot of responsibility.  It is a lot of learning.  And you need help.  You need a squad.

I also added a "Music Mantra" segment and "Normalizing Motherhood" segment where I talk about the ever-important topic of hemorrhoids and poop.  (Yep, not kidding.)

January is often a time we reflect on the year that passed and think about what we want to accomplish in the coming year. Sometimes I look back and feel like I crushed it. Other years, not so much.

One thing I've learned about being a working mom over the last decade is, if you are not intentional about where you want to go in life, the weeks and months whiz by.  Let's be honest, as a working mom, your "to do" list will never end.  If we are not careful, we get stuck in the minutiae of daily life and miss out on greater fulfillment.  We have to be intentional about our time and how we spend it.

In this episode, I give you five steps to step out of the daily grind and set a goal that will give you more purpose in life.  Enjoy!

Welcome to the Professional Mom Squad!  In this first episode, I talk about the mission statement for PMS.  (Yes, I know that acronym means other things. But, so what!)  Being a working mom is probably the hardest thing I've ever done.  It's a daily struggle.  But, I adore my three kids and being a mom.  I believe we can get through this a lot easier if we do it together.  We may even change the world while we're at it.  As an additional bonus, I'll also talk about fear because, let's be honest, it's real and affects our decisions every day!  Might as well dig in and get some clarity.  Alright P-moms.  Glad to have you.
