While most people are familiar with the Illinois we see in the bright lights of Chicago, the southern part of the state has a more cryptic allure. In the swamplands north of Harrisonburg there are stories of a lumbering creature that makes its way through the Tuttle Bottoms that has been sighted nearly thirty times since the 1960s.  In nearby Enfield, a strange three-legged monster caused panic, leading to armed monster-hunting parties roaming along the railway tracks looking for their shot. New York City is no stranger to the strange and the weird. But it's another thing altogether for the small town of Montauk.
