Sometimes life hands us curveballs, but the change happens when we do something differently. So the question lies in what can we do today to start the change within ourselves to be the change we so desperately need.

How do we struggle with worry and not stay there? How do we let go and learn to trust that we are enough simply as we are and because we are a child of God? It is one step and one moment at a time, but if we're willing to grow and to do the work, the miracles are waiting for us.

The same fears that held me long ago are the same fears I get to confront today. I don't run. I don't cower. I lean into the fear and whisper the truth of who I am. I whisper back that I'm still standing and this fear that once took me out is now the same fear that will set my soul free.

I've missed a lot of sunsets in my life, but thank God He knows how to redeem the time and heal old wounds. This episode is about walking through old wounds and how to practically let go and let God.

When our cup runs over, we can give to others. For far too long, I was giving from an empty cup not knowing why I was so suicidal. Today, I get to learn that His presence is enough for me, and now I can be present with you.

Years of in and out of rehab, jail, and homelessness coupled with hopelessness, I finally gave God space to move in my life. During my last relapse, I cried out to God, angry and bitter, but he met me with grace and love.
