Ro: Zăpada cădea încet, acoperind pământul ca o pătură albă.
En: The snow was falling slowly, covering the ground like a white blanket.

Ro: Andrei și Elena urcau pe drumul Transfăgărășanului, mașina lor înaintând printre peisaje de iarnă spectaculoase.
En: Andrei and Elena were climbing the Transfăgărășan road, their car moving through the spectacular winter landscapes.

Ro: Aerul era rece și proaspăt; munții Carpați se ridicau măreți, veghind tăcuți călătoria celor doi.
En: The air was cold and fresh; the Carpathian Mountains rose majestically, silently watching over the journey of the two.

Ro: Andrei ținea strâns volanul, iar ochii săi fixau drumul cu atenție.
En: Andrei held the steering wheel tightly, and his eyes were fixed attentively on the road.

Ro: Avea un itinerar detaliat în minte, planificase fiecare oprire, fiecare loc de popas.
En: He had a detailed itinerary in mind, having planned every stop, every resting place.

Ro: Elena însă privea pe fereastră, fascinat de frumusețea strălucitoare a zăpezii.

Ro: „Hai să ne abatem de la drum și să vedem ce e acolo,” propuse Elena cu entuziasm, arătând spre o potecă laterală ce părea să ducă într-o pădure densă.
En: "Let's stray from the road and see what's over there," proposed Elena enthusiastically, pointing to a side path that seemed to lead into a dense forest.

Ro: „Nu e pe hartă,” răspunse Andrei, ușor îngrijorat. „Nu e sigur. Avem un plan, să-l urmăm.”
En: "It's not on the map," replied Andrei, slightly worried. "It's not safe. We have a plan, let's follow it."

Ro: „Dar poate e ceva minunat de văzut!” insistă Elena cu un zâmbet larg.
En: "But maybe there's something wonderful to see!" insisted Elena with a wide smile.

Ro: Andrei oftă adânc. Siguranța și confortul i se păreau mai atractive decât necunoscutul, dar privirea Elenei era îmbietoare.
En: Andrei sighed deeply. Safety and comfort seemed more attractive than the unknown, but Elena's look was alluring.

Ro: „Bine, să încercăm,” capitulă el.
En: "Alright, let's give it a try," he conceded.

Ro: Drumul secundar era greu de străbătut, dar atmosfera avea o magie aparte.
En: The secondary road was hard to navigate, but the atmosphere had a special magic.

Ro: Copacii erau încărcați cu nea, iar liniștea era de-o frumusețe ireală.
En: The trees were laden with snow, and the silence was of an unreal beauty.

Ro: La capătul drumului, priveliștea i-a lăsat fără cuvinte: o vale ascunsă, presărată cu fulgi de zăpadă strălucitori sub lumina soarelui.

En: They worked with dedication, and Elena was in high spirits.

Ro: În cele din urmă, după câteva încercări, au reușit să pornească din nou pe drumul netezit.
En: Eventually, after a few attempts, they managed to get back on the smoothed road.

Ro: Când s-au întors pe șoseaua principală, Andrei se simțea schimbat.
En: When they returned to the main road, Andrei felt changed.
