Joe Lehnig and I hung out in a jazz club after hours, on his birthday, to talk about his upbringing with foster parents. Joe wasn't a foster kid, he just lived with them for a while. His mom wrote a whole book about fostering children and Joe has some crazy stories about it. From a runaway girl sharing a boyfriend with her mother, to getting stabbed in the eye with a ballpoint pen by a wild child. We only scratched the surface. Buy Joe's Mom's book!
