Uncivilized

There's plenty of excuses to not want to work. Whether it's because of the industry or the pay. I was taught the phrase "beggars can't be choosy". I have bills that need to be paid. I can't complain about my job. If I want more money, I know I need to work for it. If i'm applying for a job in an industry that i'm experienced in, I'll ask for more than the minimum wage. If I'm applying for a job at a company that I previously worked for, I'll ask to get paid more.  Many company's are understaffed right now. If you have experience in an industry and they are hiring, apply for it. When they ask how much should you get paid, be honest. If you know the industry, don't settle for anything less than what you are worth.

The Times They Are a-Changin'” is a song written by Bob Dylan and was released as the title track of his 1964 album “The Times They Are a-Changin”. Dylan wrote the song as a deliberate attempt to create an anthem of change for the time. Inspired by the Civil Rights Movement, this song still resonates today. Below is my interpretation of the song.

The Salisbury Observer did a Messenger interview with Chris, an owner of The Fish Bowl. The Fish Bowl is bar located on East Innes Street in Downtown Salisbury. While Governor Cooper has the state in Phase Two of reopening, bars have yet to reopen. Below is our interview.
