When faced with true adversity, many of us don't know how to get ourselves back to a place of happiness: whether we realize it or not, we want to be saved. In this episode we meet Maggie Dong who, at the young age of sixteen, lost her mother to breast cancer.

The human mind is as equally amazing as it is complex. In times of crisis or trauma, it compartmentalizes the event(s), making it bearable for the person experiencing it. This trauma is then stored in the body where outside factors can trigger it, the person re-expericing the feelings surrounding the event, creating fear in a situation where there is none.

Through yoga and meditation, Drew Stockton seeks to learn more about his own traumas and suffering, ultimately serving as a resource to help others heal and thrive on their own unique life journeys. A relatiely new yogi, Drew teaches Level 1 Hatha Yoga classes in Valencia, Spain where he resides. There he also teaches English and in his free time he likes to be active in nature (hiking, running, climbing, skiing, among others). At home, he enjoys cooking and sharing delicious vegan meals with others.
