Steve is a longtime accordionist, composer, and all-around musical storyteller whose work blends folk, Americana, jazz, polka, rock and roll, and more in ways that defy easy categorization. Known throughout the Miami Valley and beyond for his vibrant performances and deep musical knowledge, Steve brings decades of experience — and a deep love for the accordion — to this rich conversation.

Our theme this week is, fittingly, "Different Paths to Music." Steve’s musical journey is anything but conventional, and his thoughtful insights into how he found his voice — and his instrument — provide a compelling reminder that there is no one “right” way to make music.
