To skip Josh's food poisoning saga, go to 44:43. This week we discuss the BIZARRE case of a Frenchman who got his jollies from impersonating himself as missing children to gain attention. This was a Patreon suggested segment and was well documented in the documentary "The Impersonator". We also answer some fan Q\A!

These segments were handpicked by one of our Patreons. First we talk about Jesse James Hollywood. A little suburban badass who was owed money by a Kid Rock lookalike named Ben Markowitz. Since Ben wasn't paying his drug debt, Jesse decided to kidnap Ben's younger brother Nick as collateral. It was supposed to be a fairly harmless operation... however it didn't end up that way. Next we talk about the case of the "Robinhood Rabbi", Joseph Prushinowski. An orthodox Jew, Prushinowski defrauded numerous financial institutions out of millions of dollars. The twist in this story is that Prushinowski did not seem to personally benefit from any of these illicit activities. It is believed that he literally stole from the rich and gave to the poor, in this case, his orthodox Jewish community.

On this episode we discuss a real southern-friend son of a bitch. J.D. Method conned women out of large sums of money under the false pretense of being interested in them romantically. Then we discuss the mysterious murder of David Merrifield. Two women walk into the building where they work. When they access the elevator they are greeted with the grizzly sight of a dead and bloodied body. This was the body of David Merrifield, but how did he end up there?

Josh here, I talk about how the health insurance company Florida Blue has fucked me about with not paying me reimbursements for medical expenses I incurred over half a year ago. Also we talk about the kidnapping of Kyle McElroy. Kyle and his father Kevin owned a successful glass factory until one day Keven received a phone call declaring his son had been captured and a ransom was demanded. Next we talk about the early 2000's "Anthrax Letter Scare". You remember that right? You were paranoid even opening a damn letter back in the day in fear of seeing some cake-like powder in the evelope and BAM! you're dead. Finally we end on a bunch of cry-babies who felt the need to leave us 1-star reviews. Don't they understand that it makes for good podcasting at this point? Meh oh well, we love you guys who do give a shit.

On this short and sad podcast we cover the case of Christophe Day. A kid who was kept from his father by his awful mother. This story has a very sad ending. Our next depressing case is the Las Cruces Bowling Massacre. The title pretty much speaks for itself... what a bummer episode maaaannnn.. We could have at least had the decency to throw in a lost loves segment to soften it up some.

On this week's episode of UUM, Josh and Mike discuss the tragic case of two lovers cut down during the heat of passion. This love was forbidden and the penalty was apparently death. Though she is expected to be long since deceased the body of Audrey Moate has never been discovered. Next we discuss the case of two restaurants vying for business in a small Georgia town. But would it be classic Unsolved Mysteries if it didn't end in murder? I think not!
