9/11 Pentagon survivor Brent Hoffman steps into the Arena this week for our 9/11 Remembrance Edition.

We are truly honored to welcome former State Senator Brent “B.R.” Hoffman, a public servant, author, and retired United States Air Force officer into the Arena.

Senator Hoffman devoted twenty years to military service, rising from the enlisted ranks to serve as a Major in the United States Air Force.

On September 11, 2001, then USAF Major Hoffman was inside the Pentagon when American Airlines Flight 77 struck the building, making him a survivor and eyewitness to one of our nation’s darkest days.

His story is one of courage, faith, service, and resilience.

Zach is running again for the city council in the Central District. In 2018 Zach ran for the Central district seat and lost by less than two percent. Now, in 2026 Zach is hoping to make his comeback as a champion for safer more walkable streets in high density areas like the Central District, more transparency from city hall, and smarter budgeting decisions that emphasizes investment in existing infrastructure.

Our man in the arena this week is retired Army Colonel, former business executive, and Republican candidate for District 12 in the South Dakota House of Represenatives: Kerry Loudenslagger.

Kerry is running unopposed for the Republican nomination in District 12 in the state house. Kerry previously ran four years ago for the state house and lost by 14 votes. Kerry now sees a clear path to victory in 2026.
