Undeclared! The Vampire Diaries

Neither of us are happy about what is happening to Ric. Krista is also mad at Stefan, but you'll have to listen to know why.

It's debauchery all around with Damon and Stefan reminiscing about the time in 1912 when they met a woman vampire boxer named Sage during a time when members of the founding families were being murdered. They also murdered some other members of the founding families, but that's unrelated. Oh, and Damon brought out the true ripper in Stefan. Meanwhile, Elena and Matt break into Meredith's apartment to try to find what she's hiding in order to get Ric cleared of murder charges. Oh, right, because Ric's not dead! He's just in jail after being turned in by Meredith for killing Bill and that other guy. But wait! She hands over the documents that exonerate him so he's let free. Hold on though! She still thinks he's a serial killer, and, after reading through one of her ancestor's journals, Elena agrees! Just another day in Mystic Falls!

As promised! We're back, and jumping right in where we left off! We've got a captured Elena, an angry Elijah, a vengeful Rebekah, a smitten Klaus, a chaotic evil Kol, a Finn, and a Salvatore brothers team up that leads to a mommy turned vamp. Oh, and Meredith shoots Ric. It's great to be in Mystic Falls again!

Psst! We have a little secret for you: we're back!

We wanted to give you guys an idea of what's going on with us, and why we've had to take an unplanned hiatus. We will be back as soon as we can, and we hope you stick with us. We love this show, and we love you guys. Always and Forever!

We are not happy about this stuff with Alaric. He needs to stop getting hurt, and killed, and his ring needs to start working at full strength or whatever because this is not ok! And who ever is trying to frame him, or maybe frame Elena, needs to STOP IT!


Meanwhile, we have Original Witch Esther using Elena's doppelganger blood to do a spell that binds her children together so she can kill them. Elena allows this, because ultimately it gets rid of Klaus, but unfortunately it also gets rid of Elijah. We have suspicions this doesn't work though, because, well, spin-off.


And Krista would kindly like Klaus to leave Caroline alone.

Stefan and Klaus's game of Who's the Bigger Villain continues, and puts the lives of those we love at stake (though, not at a White Oak Stake): Stefan threatens to drive Elena off the bridge where her parents died after force feeding her his blood, and Tyler bites Caroline, infecting her with werewolf...venom? saliva? toxin? I don't know the specifics of what that is exactly, but it makes her very sick and in need of saving by Klaus. And boy does that saving end up being a Thing We Weren't Expecting.


Alaric seems to be getting involved with Dr. Meredith Fell, who may or may not be a murderer, but who definitely is in the know about vampires (she's a Fell, after all) and uses their blood to save people. Damon is protective of his BFF, and also overall awesome in these episodes.


Bonnie and Elena find Bonnie's long-lost mommy, who we pretty much hate, but Klaus has found her first, so it's a whole thing where Elena saves the day like a boss. Caroline's dad comes back to try to help Tyler break the sire bond, to varying degrees of success - he ends up almost dead but saved by vampire blood again. And Damon undaggered Elijah!

We start with the almost foolproof plan to kill Klaus using his father, Mikael, as bait; Katherine subbing in for Elena; and the only known White Oak Stake, but Klaus has contingencies in play. If he dies, his new crew of Hybrids will kill Damon. So, Stefan saves Klaus, gets his compulsion removed, and steals Klaus's coffins of Originals.
But what's in the fifth coffin?

That's the question plaguing Stefan, and, well, us. Krista has a theory, but is she right? Meanwhile, Klaus is going to hurt everyone in Elena's life until he gets his coffins back, starting with a magic ring-less and compelled Jeremy. Rick literally jumps in at the last second and is killed, but he was thankfully wearing *his* ring. But...something's not right. We have a bad feeling about this.

Oh, and Damon kisses Elena.

It's a ghost, ghost, ghost, ghost world. Some are great - hi Mason! - and some are just as awful now as they were before - STFU Frederick. But it all leads to finding some cave paintings on the Lockwood property, and a little more of the Originals' history. Their dad is terrible. And now he's on his way to Mystic Falls.

We begin with Senior Prank Night, where our incoming seniors are finally able to do dumb shit like put mouse traps all over the floor of a classroom, TP the pool, and superglue Alaric's desk shut. Or so they think. They are interrupted by the return of Klaus, and he wastes no time forcing Tyler into potential Hybridism, forcing Bonnie to find out why his previous attempts at making Hybrids didn't work, and forcing Stefan to turn off his humanity. Meanwhile, Matt has to deal with the Vicki situation, and he does so by drowning himself, hoping that Bonnie will remember her CPR training well enough to save him.


It turns out that the original witch had a loophole to the hybrid curse: it would take a doppelganger to break it with her death, but then it would take her blood to make the hybrids. So, by saving Elena's life, all they did was give Klaus the key to making more hybrids AND Jenna still had to die. Great plan, guys. This all worked out so well.
