Under A Rock

Priority One: Ensure the watching of the movie Alien for analysis. All other considerations secondary. Logan and Travis expendable.

Has it felt like 23 years have passed since you heard the last episode of Under A Rock? Well that's because Logan and Travis soared across the galaxy and back to find a movie for this week, and well, you all know how relativity works. Oh, wait, you don't? Well you're in luck because on this week's movie, Interstellar, director Christopher Nolan gladly overexplains the hell out of it for us all.

"I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. I like to think they were singing about how Logan and Travis are so beautiful they can't be expressed in words, and they make your heart ache because of it." - Red

This week, Logan and Travis take a life sentence or two to talk about The Shawshank Redemption.

Listen folks, it's Logan from Under A Rock here. I know the podcast is extremely late this week. I know I could try to tell a giant story full of fantastical events and circumstances that would explain the podcast's tardiness. What I will say is that sometimes going the long way somewhere and taking your time to do it is often times more interesting than going the short way.

What I'm really trying to do is reference the fact that Travis and I watched Big Fish this week!

Also, just mark your calendars for the podcast to start dropping on Tuesdays. Fridays weren't really working out for our schedules. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks for listening and sticking with us.

Long story over. Time to go for a swim.

This week, Travis and Logan invite you to grab a coffee with them, maybe watch a little radar, and then go full-on plaid with them in a discussion of Spaceballs. And a small side discussion of Tremors. Tremors is never far from Travis' thoughts.

On this week's episode of Under A Rock, Travis invites Logan to a secret lair that is impossibly deep into the Canadian tundra to talk about Ex Machina. Logan couldn't possibly turn down the promise of (A LOT of) free booze and dancing robots.

This weekend America celebrates gaining its independence from Great Britain. Logan also celebrates gaining his independence from Travis. Why? Because Travis is a bad friend who makes his good friend watch THE WORST MOVIE OF ALL TIME. Spoiler alert, I guess.

This week Travis and Logan watch The Lawnmower Man.

Sorry for the late episode this week, folks! Travis and Logan went away from podcasting for a bit to study under the tutelage of the podcast masters (podmasters?), hone their craft and come back better than ever. Some might call it an Under A Rock-aissance, much like the McConaissance.

Most will call it laziness. We'll be on schedule next time! Thanks for the patience!

This week Travis and Logan watch and discuss Dallas Buyers Club.

On this week's episode, Travis and Logan discuss Spirited Away, a Japanese horror cartoon. TRIGGER WARNING: We use the words "cartoon" and "comic" in place of "anime" and "manga" a BUNCH.

FIGHT US.

This week's mission: Travis Burden and Logan Williamson must topple a terrorist-funding criminal mastermind by beating him in a poker game. Instead they’ll just watch some guy do it in a movie for them.  They’ll totally wear suits while they watch though.
