Listen, I’m not all that much into fishing. Don’t get me wrong , I enjoy it but it just doesn't hold my attention like hunting does. I don’t have any real desire to hunt a high fence ranch but you’d have to drag me away from a stocked catfish pond with a good bite going kicking and screaming. Even me, a guy who doesn’t fish all that often can see the usefulness of the spool pro x1. We’ve been taking a lot of squirrel hunting lately and there’s no reason to stop now. Did you know that Squirrel meat is some of the most nutrient dense wild game meat there is? Not to mention they’re absolutely delicious. To top it all off they’ll teach you quite a bit about the deer woods if you let them. Squirrels are one of my favorite critters to chase in fact we’ll be out in Seminole Forest for the first small game hunt of the season this Saturday January 17th chasing some squirrels ourselves and we’d love to have you join us but be sure to arrive early as there are limited permits available on a first come first serve basis.

We’ve covered a lot of stuff on this show in 2025. Who knew you could cram so much information into 30 minutes? We’ve talked guns, gear, methods and crazy people on both sides of the aisle but one thread has held all these shows together and that's good ole facts. New hunting technology is cool, and I personally think we should be embracing it and the help it can provide.
